Estranged: The Departure

I really cannot recommend this game to anyone. This game is simply bad, basic animations, weak gunplay, rudimentary enemy ai, horrible level design and an unengaging story with a bland ending. I mean no disrespect to Alan Edwardes, but there isn't a single metric other than a slight graphical upgrade that makes this game better than the original mod.

The only thing I was so surprised by is that I am only at 4% of people who finished the game. Like, WTF?? The game is positive, and many comments are like praising the game. So how come 95% of people did not finish it? I don't think I've ever seen something like this.

Первая половина игры это чистое выживание. Ты беззащитен, враги страшные, фонарик садится. Ходишь, прячешься, собираешь хлам. Вторая половина внезапно превращается в второсортный тир. Тебе дают пушку, но патронов полно и за счёт этого игра быстро проходится. Головоломки странные. Иногда логика понятна, а иногда ты полчаса бегаешь по локации, пытаясь понять, чего от тебя хотят. Приходилось пользоваться YouTube в этих случаях. Физика дубовая можно застрять в текстурах и откатиться далеко назад. Бродилка досталась бесплатно, однако все уныло и скучно, благо всё закончилось быстро.

Honestly not as good as the first game, gunplay feels noticeably worse and the npcs are borderline braindead, just get Estranged Act 1, it's free anyway

A short but very well done walking puzzle simulator. The sound design is very good and the few music tracks it has are very on point and really get you into the ambiance of the story, but the story itself is very average and it really failed to capture my attention, however, the level design was very good and I did have fun exploring the path the developer intended for me to see and traverse. The combat was TERRIBLE, the shooting was awful and the enemies were very mediocre, it was the worst part of the game, but oh well, it didnt retract too much from my enjoyment, its obvious they didnt set out to make a shooter. Another very bad thing was the ending sequence.. right after escaping the island, it dragged and it was unskippable, I would dread to do it again. Some puzzles were not as obvious as I thought but where the game really shined for me was in the achievement department. Achievements were fun to hunt and it didnt involve grind or "checkpoints", bringing Mr Bucket along for the ride was surprisingly fresh to me. 前几年领的免费的游戏，正式版转收费了，第一部还是免费，就是个很短很糙的游戏，故事讲得一般般，手感一般般，恐怖的氛围感做得很好，但是我觉得主要是起源引擎的功劳，如果是前几年免费获取的可以试一试，花钱买就没什么必要了
