The game probably doesn't even have a build-in chess rule as you can move every piece everywhere, it just checks you picked the "correct" piece and make the "correct" move, some level is just trial and error to find out what the developers intended solution while there are also other ways to mate in 2. Very cheap but I wouldn't recommend for any chess learner. For beginners the "Mate in 1" would be a better choice. I won't bother with Mate in 3 and 4 myself.
I enjoyed Zen Chess: Mate in One so I figured I'd pick this one up too but it's not nearly as good. Some puzzles have multiple solutions but they only accept the one they want to accept. Also, there's a handful of puzzles where the opponent makes a move that doesn't make any sense. Those particular puzzles get very frustrating. You find yourself just guessing turns to see what the game wants you to do in some of these puzzles and it takes away from them being actual puzzles. Zen Chess: Mate in One is definitely worth your time, this one is not.
两步比四步简单hhh 就是自由度还是不高 只能用规定的那一种解法
How do you know if someone is bad at chess? They keep trying to castle with the rook.
Hay muchos casos que tienen múltiples soluciones y solo contempla un caso, incluso se puede hacer jaque mate con un solo movimiento, sacando eso esta bueno el juego, para entretenerte un par de horas y hacerte pensar.
A simple chess puzzle game that teaches the value of sacrificing chess pieces (sometimes as much as a queen), inviting the player to get creative. You'll have to know how the chess principle of forcing moves works if you hope to stand a chance at beating the game, and though it's more difficult than its predecessor because of that, it's a good learning tool to run if you're feeling like flexing that pattern recognition muscle as it pertains to chess. No fluff, clean UI design and the trophy achievements popping up every ten puzzles is a nice touch, it kept me in the thinking mood. More puzzles would have been good grease for a lengthier, focused experience, including an instructions section on useful chess principles needed to play effectively. Leaning into the zen concept like solving riddles alongside the puzzles, and listening to koans would have truly set it apart from the chess game standard. 6/10. A meditative, piece flinging experience.
After mentally accepting that the author of this game doesn't understand what the term 'ambiguity' means, this is a fairly good game. The description of this game is misleading. There are 150 puzzles, not 300 puzzles.
