About
USSR, 1986. When Ira Grachevskaya goes missing in the closed city of Vorkuta-5, not a soul seems to be concerned – except for the quiet outcast Asya Shubina, that is. Uncover the mystery behind Ira’s disappearance, transmit your radio signal to the universe and learn why a bird flies past the window.
Meet the cast.

A problem child and a truant, Ira doesn't have the best reputation. Her standoffish demeanor makes her difficult to talk to, especially for someone as meek as you. There is a rumour she's been meeting with an older man.

Marina's carefree personality makes her quite popular among her classmates. Adults don't seem to like her very much, probably due to poor grades. Despite the girl's outgoing nature, her worldview is rather cynical.

A boy with an unpleasant sense of humour. Likes picking on people weaker than him, namely you. His family has been a little out of it the past few weeks.

You. Not worth writing about.

по трейлеру думал будет чтото в духе юме никки или омори но нет, самодостаточный проект мне зашло
So where do I even start? Made by an artist with passion, idea and truly blessed style. Art style is cute, fitting and charming. Idealized late USSR era aesthetic without any excessive details (excessive to story, this is not history; all this world is just canvas) Writing and characters are really good, Asya can really be seen as original character, creating some type of archetype. Music is fine, more or less pleasent to hear while reading. So the story. First of all, it is finished though not as plainly and straight-forward as most of them. To depict these characters you need to create some real enviroment and add some fantasy elements, some curves. Second, there are schizo elements but they are part of the plot, not the main part. This is not "milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk", not same type schizo. It was added only enough to combine all the pieces, finish the picture. The story about Asya and her friends from the school in 60-70y of Soviet Era. Asya makes friends, trying to find her place in the Universe. Goes to school, goes to library, goes home. Until something changes, slightly but steadily. World is not starting to get crazy, other way around - world is starting to move pieces back together. And Asya forms her way of thinking about changes, about the World, affected by some changes. She wants to affect it too, but that you will understand when you read it. 6-10 h of reading, depends on your speed. WORTH, even childish parts are worth in the end. Because the World is so perfect and beautiful, and everything in it. } I love you, reader. And I love you, perfect Universe.
the story really had me hooked for most of it, i say most because the ending felt very confusing and rushed to me in comparison to the rest of the story. regardless of that, i still think this is a pretty good read, especially the fact that it's free i wanna look like ira so bad
I've had this in my library for close to 9 months now, and wow, I wish I'd played this sooner! It's been a few years since I've read anything with this much impact (namely Milk outside a Bag of Milk...), and this was one hell of a treat. I personally don't understand it completely (though I don't think many people do), but that hasn't diminished my experience whatsoever. The characters and artstyle are incredible too, I love them so much!!
"I am my own parabolic antenna. The strength of my signal is decided by my own levels of gratitude. It's a matter of resolve. It's a matter of admiration. It's a matter of dedication." - Peak I have no true ways to describe this game. I mean, it's hardly even a game - more a book with visual elements. Somewhere between a voiced comic and a collection of mad, beautiful ramblings. The writing is wonderful, with such passion for the mundane and a love for the world in all its imperfections. It portrays such an optimistically naïve view of the world I could never hope to possess. Asya is so kind and yet so strange. I don't even know if I could explain the plot if I tried. The use of royalty free music is literally the best in any project I've seen: each track being used wonderfully and synced to the writing in a way that I genuinely thought this game had an OST. If pretty words tickle your brain, give the game a go. I don't know if it's exactly changed my worldview or anything, but I do think it'll stick with me.
