"I can't believe its not Maplestory!" (in praise) I'd rather wait for this game to be out of early access before writing a thorough review, but from the time I've given it so far I enjoyed what's there. It's got a lot of 'heart' behind it. Even though the experience is a bit lacking, it invites a lot of 'power fantasy' and includes quality of life features to respect your time at every place it can. A lot of unexpected fun surprises in the limited time I played!
A very chill game to sit down and grind. Even in this early access state I'm impressed by the amount of features and content, and even started to feel a little overwhelmed with how much there was to explore! The combat is simple yet satisfying, and being able to freely swap abilities helps your build feel fresh whenever things start to get a little stale. I've been playing on the steam deck and it works well, with a few minor bugs.
Very fun game cant wait till more is added so i can continue!
Pretty fun, engaging and very interesting, making the simple incredible, very promising game!
This is almost all in want in a solo Maplestory experience. 1. Grinding with upgradable Totem (the item that increase spawn rate, more spawn spot and reduced HP) 2. If you want to afk training they have contraption builder mode that can do all the work for you 3. Manual training felt exactly like modern maple, BUT gear progression is pretty classic maple vibe (gambling for those +1 or 2 atk extra like good ol' time) 4. Cute mob, cool and challenging bosses 5. I love this silly goose companion Enyo more than yapping nonstop Paimon I don't know dev is using Maplestory for preference or his/her own idea but it'ss working perfectly. Keep it up!!! I would recommend this game to the Maplers out there who burnout by the moderm Maple scene or waiting room for classic server.
