Youth Academy

No instructions whatsoever. It's a simple game and I had it figured out in about 15 minutes, but the way you're introduced to the game is jarring. I can deal with that, but bugs make this game unplayable. Every game at least one of my players gets his stats corrupted which totally messes up the scoring calculations the game uses. A typical striker will have a shooting ability of 40. Last game I had a strikers shooting ability go up to 600. He scored easily every time he shot. And on the other end a defender got his tackling ability knocked down to like -360 or something. So the opposition scored on every play in which he touched the ball no matter what else happened. You've got no substitutes, just your 11 players, so I'm forced to leave that -360 guy in the game. Also the UI is buggy. Sometimes the task bar is invisible (that's not a setting, it just is invisible) and you have to guess where the button is to move to a different screen. There's a green button at the top right that I can't see. There's no options to adjust display that I've seen so I'm stuck with that too. What's irritating is that the player corruption bug happens nearly every single game and the UI bug is easy to spot. There's no way they playtested this, not properly. I suspect I'm the only reviewer so far who isn't affiliated with the dev team. Nah... it looks like this game was entirely written and released in less than 2 weeks. Which is fine, there's nothing wrong with a simple and cheap game as long as it runs clean. This one does not run clean at all. It's slop.

refunded. theres nothing really to do. no idea why there are positive reviews at all. its simply unfinished in every possible way. wouldnt even call it a game.

as a fan of the genre it’s nice to see a different approach here. It’s basically football manager + auto battler and it works better than I expected tbh I’ve been playing it while working remotely, just letting matches run in the background while I do my stuff. It’s kinda perfect for that def keeping an eye on this one rn

No, thank you. This game can play with itself for free, me (and my money) not needed. You dont decide anything, just clicking the "next" button. Aint no training, no choosing players for your Academy, no facilities or even tactics. After 10 automatches they ask you to offer players to clubs who asked you for it. Just click agree on the cards and thats all. You dont know if they were chosen by the clubs or not. And then they give you another bunch of faceless players. For 10 matches where you dont decide anything again. You can only choose new cards for players and its so muddy and boring. Tiring and not interesting.

im actually enjoying this more than i expected got this guy william im developing into a striker but he’s kinda mid rn talks way too cocky for his stats but idk i feel like thats the type of player who somehow lands a big contract anyway

This game has lack of depth, content and polish.

That's my first time playing FM kind of game. Because of that the tutorial section kinda caught me off guard on how clueless I am... but after the tutorial section everything clicked! Very interesting management system and have an endless possibility on how you can adjust your team. PS: Achievements when?
