Its a realy nyaice game, a bit like Long Live the Queen mechanic wise what i realy enjoy.

I've had a great time with this game so far, I've only completed act 1 at the time of writing this review, but I intend to keep playing (I gotta make a video review of this game for my yt about this one) The art is very reminiscent of webtoons, which for me is a plus because I love reading gl manhua/manhwa and webcomics. I always find it impressive when someone is able to make a visual novel as involved as this and draw all their art themselves. As far as the writing goes, it's def wears it's manhua inspiration on its sleeves; I'm fairly certain I remember the dev saying she wanted to make a game that captured the manhua she enjoyed readings spirit (or something like that) and I do feel it's done just that very well. It's nothing new or incredible, but it is what it needs to be and did a good job at keeping me invested so far. Being a management sim (I think that's right?) there's some scenes that get a lil bit repetitive, but not to the games detriment For the characters, I'm mostly invested in Rosalie, though a V4V power couple dynamic with Aeriselle does sound enticing too (that's villainess for villainess if it wasn't obvious lol) I have zero interest in pursuing the men, but that's just because I'm a lesbian and well... the yuri vtuber so like, yeah. That said, a story where you win back the jerk who dumped you for political reasons doesn't sound too bad, so I'm sure people who like het romance otome's could get enjoyment out of that. Anyways, good game so far, will be playing more and maybe update this review after I finish the game twice. Def can say I recommend this one.

[h1] A Peak Yuri Monarch Game (Half-Spoiler Review) [/h1] I have to say, I did not expect this game to secretly be a Yuri Lesbian VN Game with a side of Bisexuality because they kept it Equality in 2 Females and 2 Males for Romance Options. Anyway! Surprisingly, this game only took me 5 hours in 2 days. Originally, I wanted to see if I could beat the game under 2 hours in case I would not like it judging from Other Reviews over Fair Complaints that the game is Very Grindy and Punishing. However, I got deep into it and I found it challenging yet Easy to Adapt because I've gotten used to Grindy Strategy Games. If anything, this reminded me closely to V-Lover and Fire Emblem: Three Houses having a Baby. While I wish I could have done Different Routes, the Game really Limits you, HARD on what you can do and what you CAN'T do without getting a Quick Bad Ending especially in the First Chapter Arc. On the Other Hand, the Story and the Characters is what Really Carried the Whole Game. Especially the Easy Chemistry between Rosalie and Lucena because the Game Heavily Focuses on These Two A lot. Not a Problem for me because Honestly, Spoiler Free, Rosalie is the ONLY One I can think of and Trust that Literally won't betray you while the Rest Do NOT Give a ♥♥♥♥ 😭. This Game is Perfect to Make YOU Feel like a Villain in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Up World that is SO Corrupted while you are trying to be a Hero with Necessary Evil Tactics Left and Right. It's a Perfect Game that Tests Your Morality. Like Cyberpunk and Real Life, Heroes Don't Really Exist because Everyone is Morally Grey and it Depends on Who You Think is a Good Guy based on your Feelings and Instincts. That being said, I love this game. Super Easy to Beat if you Play your Cards Right. And yes, the Walkthrough Guide CARRIED My First Run with Little to no Spoilers so I enjoyed using it for my Whole Run because I hate losing in my games Lol, I'm not proud to be a Sore Loser. Anyway, my Advice? Rosalie, Rosalie, and Rosalie. Because really, Edgar is a Douchebag for Dumping You, Helius is a Good Boy that I see him as a Friend, Aeriselle is SO Shady but a Necessary Evil Ally, and of course, Rosalie, the Princess Peach Heroine that you can easily Steal and Romance away from Edgar because Man, F3CK Edgar, He HAD it Coming. Also, here is a Speedrun Secret Alternate Ending if you want Rosalie away from her Arranged Marriage, Pay her to Not Need to Marry Early at Act 1 with Budget, it was worth becoming Broke to Skip the Whole Destroy Edgar's Marriage right in Front of Him, Kissing His Girl Right in Front of him During a Scene was Enough LMAO. I hope You'll Enjoy this Game if you are Planning to Test Yourself. I recommend you get it on Sales so you don't feel like you Wasted Your Money and Best of Luck! I give this game an 8/10. A bit too Difficult but Short Enough to leave you Strategizing more and Satisfied.

Fun game especially in the first act. The only real gripe I have with the game is the second and third act feel a bit rushed. The first act is a lot longer and feels more flushed out that act two and three. In every playthrough I've done Act one takes more time than Acts two and three combined. They're still enjoyable acts I just wish there was more content in the later two acts.

I think this is a pretty good small visual novel, albeit not for the asking price. It's a proper otome villainess game, where you take the place of the antagonist in a web of royal intrigue and romance, with kingdom management elements on the side. I think one could criticize it for not delving deeply enough into the romance or management aspects, both of which I wish were more fleshed out. The game introduces its concepts pretty quickly; you're a stereotypically 'villain' coded girl who is quite literally cuckolded out of power, and through the power of spite plan to regain your power and potentially your romantic dignity as well. The first half of the game is dedicated to attempting to win succession in the elective monarchy, with heavy emphasis on raising sim elements like training your stats and raising your relationships with others, while the back half focuses on kingdom management and rounding out the romance. There are only four options for romance, two men and two women. Neither man interested me (One I was actively trying to destroy, the other was just a little too vanilla), but both women were intriguing, although one much more than the other. I get the feeling the creator probably played favorites, but that's okay by me. The game handles intrigue quite well, it keeps you guessing on who you can trust until just about the last possible second. The romance itself leaves a little to be desired, mainly because of the game's limited dialogue and runtime I think. There also isn't an appreciably long enough payoff after entering your relationship, I feel. Things end very quickly after getting together. Despite that, I feel pretty satisfied with the "villainess x villainess" relationship. I really appreciate how the game essentially forces you to take part in shady activities and act in many ways indistinguishable from a villain in order to succeed properly, and your love interest reflects that in a way. She appears quite obviously evil, and yet she mirrors you in a lot of ways. Depending on how you play, it COULD be that you are planning to do good through shady methods, or that you are just shady and evil, but no one could tell either way just looking at you from the outside: She is the same way, and it's impossible to tell whether she's benevolent or malicious until the end. The answer surprised me in a way that cemented the character as more complex and interesting than quite a lot of her competitors in the VN space. I didn't do the other routes; the heroine is also quite interesting as a character but a big turnoff for my personal tastes. As for the kingdom management, it was disappointing. The majority of it are very repetitive events, and a good half of the kingdom stats never seem to come up or do anything. The game sets up an interesting internal and external political situation, and asks some interesting questions, but your ability to follow through is very limited. This game doesn't directly compare itself to Long Live The Queen, but at least in my mind, the legacy of that game looms large over any life sim/raising sim with similar themes, so it's impossible to avoid comparison. I would say that this game certainly has better romance. I was lucky enough to stumble into the yuri route on my first (successful) playthrough of Long Live The Queen, but it is certainly mute, and you barely share more than two conversations with the girl; most love interests there are the same. This game has more going on in that department. But the gameplay is not nearly so complex or fun, in either the raising sim aspects or the kingdom management aspects. Ultimately I think it's a good game, and I don't really regret having bought it on sale, but I would say that the asking price is pretty damn high for what it's offering. I recommend getting it on sale if you like this type of game.

My adventure started off getting broken up with, but I handled it with grace, I merely tarnished my exes name, beat him in his bid to rule, and then stole his girl 10/10

It is a very good game. I preordered it on Kickstarter and was not disappointed. I love all the intrigue going on in the background, but i will not spoil too much, just be prepared for quite a few plottwists ;)
