Jeu indépendant hongrois (dialogues dans cette langue) bien réalisé. Les énigmes sont prenantes mais au bout de quelques heures on ne sait plus trop où aller et revenir tant il y a de lieux différents et pas vraiment d'aide pour nous guider. Puis les jeu se corse sur la fin et il faut impérativement trouver une soluce et avancer pas à pas avec celle-ci, donc jeu globalement assez difficile. Mais on passe un bon moment en immersion totale dans la ville de Eger où tout a été filmé et photographié, tous les lieux et sites sont réels et je serai curieux de jouer à la suite: Miazma que je viens d'acheter sur Steam. 13/20

I lived in Eger between 2009 and 2015, so this was a huge nostalgia bomb for me. The old Dobó Square, the Más Klub poster in the Lyceum, and all the little details that come from the fact that the location isn’t staged made me smile as someone who partly feels like a local. It captures the city beautifully and offers a very interesting snapshot of the “old” Eger, which—on a rather meta level—felt like time travel for me as well. I love it. 😄

FMV dalle due facce, da una parte è impossibile non rimanere catturati dall'ambientazione, dalle vicende e, soprattutto, dai personaggi. Dall'altra il gameplay soffre troppo spesso di un design invecchiato non bene, con pixel hunting, situazioni ed enigmi poco chiari.

Fantastic FMV adventure. I actually have played more than indicated here on STEAM due another and it is priced waaay too low in my opinion based on the footage, immersive, detailed content and great gameplay. The price of admission is quite humble and a true value if, like me, you love adventure and FMV. Happy Gaming!

My feeling when finishing it: 'I kinda... love this game.' Really really liked something about it. Or several things... ... the originality. The mindset felt to me unique and fresh. E.g. the things the characters say... some of them, rather unexpected and cute. You haven't heard them in a 100 movies before, I hadn't, at least. Then all the ideas that are put in. I mean, just take all of these fake letters they wrote to put in their game. And then gameplay-wise, there is a lot of diligence put into this, with again and again new types of puzzles. ... oh my gosh the lore. At first I was like "they sure invented a lot of stuff it feels SO real". Over time I grew suspicious, this was just TOO rich. Googled it and found out this place actually exists and these are photos of real places though probably edited in parts to fit plot items in xD. There is no lore like real world lore, sooo rich. But... here's the thing... it's not just that... ... it's how they have interwoven fiction and reality. I was amazed. They fit their fictional story into reality so seemlessly. I thought to myself, whoever made this game is a genius of some sort with an IQ higher than mine. And with a huge interest in history. I think the game was worked on by comitee? Anyway it's clear a lot of thought was put into this. Perfect? No, it's not perfect. Clicking around to move... takes time. I leaned into this. The feel of moving slow, relaxing, taking things in. If you can do the same, I think you will enjoy it. Graphics are a bit outdated but growing up with VHS tapes this is not a factor that influences my enjoyment of games. The puzzles... I almost ALWAYS use walkthroughs in adventure games, as I mostly get stuck SOMEWHERE and it's more fun for me to avoid that. For this game, there was little to be had in terms of guides online, but I found a Dutch walkthrough so I used Google translate to translate it for me. And then I did fine. The logic is... kinda logical most of the time, just sometimes very clever or a bit obscure. It's not the moonlogicky feel, though, more the "I'm too dumb for this xD" feel. But hey, I prefer that to too overly simple or irrational. Just be advised, if you are like me, find a walkthrough or Let's Play before you buy, you might need that. The plot... mostly logical and nicely intricate... unfortunately, the plague of adventure games is here too: Sometimes you need to make your main character do immoral things like breaking in places or lying, when it doesn't really seem necessary. I do not enjoy such things. However, this is not extremely often. What's also nice is the acting sequences. While most of the actors overact, I got used to it and its kinda endearing. And not everyone overacts. I especially liked the acting of the ending. --- Resumé: Yes, added another place to my list of "places I'd like to visit". Mission accomplished! The devs wanted to advertise their city and I wanted to enjoy an interesting story... this was great to play thanks devs for making it =)

Even though this was my first point-and-click FMV adventure game experience, I surprisingly had a great time with this one! ^^ I found the story kinda silly at first, but I got invested in it quite quickly, and I looked forward to solving the mystery in the town of Eger. The performance of the actors and actresses was pretty good imo, except for a few background characters. I loved that we could also explore Eger and see how much it changed in the last 19 years since the game first came out. As I've actually been to this city a few times in my lifetime, I got a little nostalgic when I roamed the streets, climbed up the Minaret or visited the Castle of Eger. The only thing I can complain about are the puzzles, and they make up a large portion of the game. My problem with them is not that some of them are challenging, but that the developers barely provided hints on how you're supposed to solve them, so I often found myself getting stuck because I had no idea what the developers wanted me to do to progress throughout the game, and I'm ashamed to admit I had to consult to a walkthrough online a few times to finish it ^^" , and since I could only find a full playthrough in Hungarian, I think foreigners who do not know the language will have an even harder time with the game then I did, because I can speak Hungarian fluently :( All in all, I really loved this game, I enjoyed the mystery and the exploring section of it, but the puzzles were too vague imo. If you're interested in learning about Hungarian culture and being part of an epic sci-fi adventure, then you'll probably like this game too, despite its difficulties :)
