I also bought the physical game which I love. Enjoyable way to play fighting games without requiring quick reflexes. Good single player matches, excellent for on-the-go play that you can put down and pick back up any time.

I'm not a fan of fighting games, but Yomi 2 captures them very well: you have combos, throws, dodges, blocks, finishers. Sometimes you feel like you're smashing random keys, other times like you execute a good plan. Matches are quick and intensive. The app is phenomenal when it comes to sounds, visual effects, solo campaign (with hilarious Twitter-like posts) and async play with other people. Still I find it pricey for a card game, but whatever.

All of Sirlin's games are superbly developed, and this is among his best, and is especially good if you like fighting games!

Very good card game. Elegantly encapsulates a lot of what makes fighting games fun. Tense, mind game focused game play with some card shenanigans thrown in. Software wise, great ui, and generally very pleasant to play. Single player will never be as fun as playing a human (due to the mind game aspect) but they didn’t just gloss over single player and it does its job for learning characters/matchups. Unfortunately it’s also incredibly niche, so it’s (ironically) a discord “fighter”. Having said that there does seem to be a real discord presence.

Love the first game, cause I lack the dexterity to play an actual fighting game. This 2nd game hits all the right spots for me. I'm loving the new gem system which adding more uniqueness and diversity among the characters. Highly recommended to fighting game lovers who seeks the methodical dopamine than the adrenaline rush. Good job and thank you to the developers, and keep up the good works.
