About

Before Megaloot, there was Yollen - a small, brutally minimalist game from solo developer axilirate. Originally made as a personal project, it's now finished in its most complete form.
You had a good life. Simple and safe. Then he came. No one knows where Yollen came from but one thing’s for sure: he broke your world into pieces. Now it’s on you to grind through every skill tree, master every craft, and build yourself into the ultimate weapon of payback.
This isn’t just another incremental game - it’s your long, bitter road to revenge, one perfectly-timed tap at a time.
Level everything. Use everything. Break everything. Every skill you train feeds into the next - craft better gear, gather rare materials, unlock abilities, and prepare to face the corrupted minions Yollen left in his wake. Whether you're cooking or smithing, thieving or fighting, every action brings you closer to taking him down.
Max out your stats, conquer master your craft, and finally, face Yollen himself.
Game Features:
Chop, smelt, fight, craft, and brew your way through dozens of skills, each one fueling the others in unexpected ways.
Every next step is harder than the last. You have to understand how the world works in order to progress.
Manage a full inventory packed with hundreds of items, materials, weapons, and trinkets.
Yollen Idle runs smoothly in the background while you go about your day - accompanied by a relaxing soundtrack, satisfying game sounds, and the quiet joy of progress.
Yollen Idle was the first step towards the development of full fledged Roguelike that is Megaloot. Just like in the game, you have to grind your skills to make something really worth your time.
You didn’t ask for this life.
But you’re going to end his.

Extremely micromanagement heavy and imbalanced for an idler
My only complaint is the fact that "achievements" unlocking more inventory space ONCE YOU CLAIM IT is not properly conveyed to the player (?) so I played for a while with unclaimed inventory, creating some completely unnecessary frustration and several potential "quit-moments". Otherwise this game is amazing and awesome of what it sets out to be with ample potential for min/maxing strategic planning for satisfying results while "mistakes" are not not punishing and "bricking" is impossible. Cookie-clicker without the clicking with relatively deep and fun strategies in an elegantly simplistic and engaging package. Considering the type of game and what it sets out to do, it is about a 8/10 game, worth the price, a steal at 50% during current winter sale, all-in-all very nice!
Looks tiny, has teeth. Really like how everything seems to feed into everything else
fun
minimalist, grindy, weirdly satisfying
no fluff, just progression, crafting and that satisfying sense of getting stronger, it's an ok idle
Именно как игра - тут играть не во что + я не понимаю зачем делать такиииииииие долгие цепочки всего всего и стооооооооооолько ждать... типа играть где-то на фоне в офисе.. может быть, но полноценно - прям дрянь
kind of grind that actually feels good
Old school runescape the idle game with NES graphics. A bit rough around the edges, but at that level I don't mind buying a beer to a solo dev for a hobby project turned steam game.
