This game makes more sense as a product of it's time. Nowadays however, there are hundreds of free renditions of the games in here done with less baffling decisions, more value, or neither because the game wasn't a good idea in the first place. It doesn't control the best in places. Some levels get left up to luck, sometimes intentionally and others due to physics jank. There are mobile-game-isms that weren't necessary like pointless stars, daily rewards and useless coins, and they all demand you to replay the same levels over and over again. The millionaire achievement is the worst achievement I have ever grinded for, because when levels only give you 100 to 500 coins and missions run dry all it leads to is cheesy strats like auto-clicking the first pin pull level overnight, because why would you want to play every level 10 times over to still fall short of it? The devs have an absurd concept of replay value. If you still get this game for the love of god don't 100%. The only thing I can give this game is that the art style is cute. The novelty of playing these once-faked games at it's release was all it had going for it, and that's long dried by now.
"YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!" is exactly what you'd expect. This collection of mini-games is a parody of the well-known "trash ads" you'd often see when playing mobile games. Though these "games" were originally designed for the smartphone, the PC adaptation is pretty decent and the frustrating controls suit this game perfectly. The price is a little over the top, but you get some pretty challenging and surprisingly fun content. I'm still grinding my way to 100% this game, but so far there haven't been any major issues, besides my own skill issues.
Concept was good but It got boring fast, If I could give a mixed review instead of negative I would.
This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the purest sense of the word. Haven't 100% it (yet) but this feels like a side project the devs made in their free time after getting pissed off at all the mobile game ads. It feels like they never made it to be successful, they made it to be fun (or at least as fun as a cheap mobile game can be), and I mean it in both the best and worst of ways. Be warned for spoilers in the next paragraph since I want to talk about some of the things I found particularly annoying. Anyways, all the games here are simple minigames, and most of them are both fun and engage the player well (cash run kinda doo doo), IF you aren't going for true 100% (all 3 stars and all missions). If you are, there are few sticking points I have with some of the missions; the number towers need you to either be hella patient or really good at doing math in your head to figure out the exact path, and a few of the cash run missions are entirely RNG dependent, so prepare to be replaying the same level over and over again, get good RNG, choke in the last second and then keep replaying. Besides that and the occasional soft-lock in a few of the pin-pull levels (nothing major, you can just tab out of the game, close the window and relaunch the game and you shouldn't lose any progress) this is a decent little game that proves that most mobile game devs are cowards, and is worth it to get on sale with the rest of the collection (like I did). If you read this far thank you for reading my TED talk 7.5/10 too much cash run.
the minigames are fun but for this price it just doesnt feel good enough, the controls feel really janky and slow
I like the idea of having a game actually make those ads playable but man the designs for some level s in some games are just not good or fun, deff missed potential
There is nothing wrong with this game. It does exactly as it promises; it gives you the games from those misleading mobile ads. The games just aren't that fun or challenging once you actually get to play them.
i don't even know if i had fun playing this but i got enough dopamine out of it that it was basically the same thing as enjoying it.... no notes 10/10. i might need ADHD meds
those stupid purple guys in the car minigame
They've pretty faithfully recreated the mobile game ads, but the fact remains that the games just aren't that fun or engaging for more than a few minutes
