YAKUZA KIWAMI 3 is an extreme remake of the action-adventure beat 'em up Yakuza 3 featuring ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu's fight to protect those he loves. DARK TIES is a brand-new game featuring Yoshitaka Mine from Yakuza 3 included as a separate action-packed experience.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

전시리즈 다 하고 용과같이 시리즈를 정말 사랑하는 사람으로서 미네 외전의 엔딩은 최악 중 최악이다 이새끼들아 이럴거면 게임 만들지 마라 다신 보지 말자
I have 30ish more hours in Kiwami 3 than I do in the remaster of Yakuza 3. Compared to the remaster, the combat feels way better. Yes, this game changed story elements and most of it is dumb. Yes, they removed some gameplay and recast some characters. They did add new activities that I found were very fun and heartwarming. Morning Glory I had a blast with, same with the Biker Gang. I'm not here to fully defend RGG, yet the game itself it good and worth a play (not at full price though, kinda steep.) The Mine DLC was pretty decent too, I hate Kanda with a passion. Don't listen to the naysayers saying this ruined the franchise, they say that about every new Like A Dragon entry. I also think the game looks great and plays great, never had any graphic issues or bugs.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Damn it's rough, giving this a thumbs down. A couple things: I haven't played the old PS3 Yakuza 3, and I'm sure that game has way wayyyy more friction than this does, and if you must play A Yakuza 3, this one is likely more worth your time. This also isn't a "this game is irredeemably bad", I just think it's a little more bad than good. PROS: - The new Ryukyu style is at least a little interesting, I enjoyed the flail AoE and Bullet Reflect. Perfect Guard itself felt surprisingly not very good though, and I really like my parries usually. Not having to gather up weapons and keep track of them was nice for me, although some people may hate the lack of flexibility - Training Points being tied to the completion list felt fine. The EXP from K2 was interesting too but this is more streamlined and I didn't hate it - The music playlist is very nice to have in the open world. Some fun songs to have blasting while segwaying around the world. DAYTONAAAAA - Speaking of, segway mount is great, huge fan of added mobility - Bad Boy Dragon might be my favorite "business minigame" in the series so far, I freaking love the car crash pitched melee battles, the bikes, the stupid yankee aesthetic, and even the characters. It's cheesy and a little cringe but as a certain Dragon once said, "a man ought to be a little stupid" - Damage Control from Dark Ties is all right. It's good character building for a character who desperately needed it... we'll get to him - The orphanage stories+mechanics are not bad. Kiryu always cares about things, but this was nice to see and experience, even the little flash game style minigames. CONS: - The combat is not for me. So in K2, I whined a bit about the lack of unique heat actions, and it felt like the styles didn't flow as well, but my god this game. Dragon of Dojima flows so poorly I'm not sure why. The Aura system means you spend the entire game quickstepping behind people and hitting them with the same combo, else you do little to no damage. The moves don't feel like they're meant to chain together, and landing a full combo is not a preferred strategy. Ryukyu has good AoE, I will give it that, but it's also not the best flow in single target. This could be skill issue, YMMV, but I wasn't a huge fan. - The main story is not for me either. Where to begin with this one... The final villain isn't built at all unless you play Dark Ties, this is the first Yakuza game I've played where I didn't care about the final boss till AFTER you beat them. That cutscene plus Dark Ties almost redeems the character tbf, but why is it all after the fact! The weird ass Intelligence Organization involvement also felt like it was meant to build intrigue for something I don't know about yet... which is possible since this is a remake but I don't know what I don't know. It felt like a rectal pull is what I'm getting at and I don't think it added to the story positively. - I am sick and tired of people turning their back on "defeated" antagonists that still have a gun within reach, this has happened too many times to keep happening, get out of here - The Kiryu substories in this game are bad... I heard they removed a bunch from the old game but I can't imagine all of them were of this quality... only a few felt like they mattered, and those were the ones that give you people for Bad Boy Dragon. Not a fan of the substories in this one. - You can't get Baka Mitai on your playlist until you clear the main story... unless you buy DLC. This game is not god awful. It may even be worth your time! It just wasn't as good as K2, which is weird as hell. since that game came out ages ago. They unlearned some lessons from that game, and I'm not a huge fan of that. Still, I'm now on Yakuza 4, and I already wish there was a K4, so uh. Make your choice.
Total joke. $100 and it stutters and lags all the time. DO NOT BUY!
Seems a few purists aren't happy that a few things got swapped out or removed entirely. Basically this is a remix of Y3, brought bang up to date with loads of trappings from the most recent titles in the series. Ultimately, I haven't been impacted by any of the alterations so I've had an absolute blast hammering through this one. There's (as always) a SERIOUS amount of meat on these bones and it will take a bloody age to 100% it. When I'm not caving in faces left and right, I'm trying to become the best dad and form solid bonds with the kids at the orphanage. Looks gorgeous, made me smile, made me laugh, made me sad. Ticks all the right boxes and more. My ONLY criticism would be about the Dragon Finisher moves. It would be nice if the damage effects to the ground and so-on dissolved/faded rather than simply snapped back to being pristine again. Looks super-jarring. Maybe it's my PC's fault, don't know. 10/10. Amazing.
