Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Despite all the flaws that this game has, I just wanted to see Kiryu be happy with his kids :)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's a great game. The negativity around this game was a bit overblown I'd say. Yes, the Kagawa casting was certainly a choice but it didn't impact my enjoyment of the game. When I played I saw Hamazaki, not Kagawa. I played the original Yakuza 3 a few years ago and changes made to Rikiya and Nakahara's appearances were absolutely fine to me. The biggest negative here is still the lighting in places. Bright scenes can sometimes look a bit too bright and dark scenes too dark. Take the scene before you fight the final boss and it looks like they are standing in a void. It's pitch black. Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has the same issue with the Dragon Engine lighting. Personally I did not mind the changes made to the plot at the end. Quite curious where they will go from here when it comes to a Yakuza 4 remake. Other than that the game is still playing like a Yakuza game and it's great. You have all your fun mini games that eat your time and the new stuff at the orphanage is fantastic. Bad Boy Dragon was a great side-story and felt like a Dynasty Warriors-lite mode. Maybe a little undercooked and could have been expanded more but I enjoyed it. Now Dark Ties was a lot of fun. A little bit short in length but the content itself was very good. Hell's Arena in particular was super good. Especially Survival Hell. All in all this was once again comfort food for me like every Yakuza game is. Recommended.
Besides the obvious #RemoveKagawa , this game is just much less engaging than the game it's remaking. Story is generally a strict downgrade with changes (some additions were fine). Both combat styles are sauceless. The motorcycle side content is ok but really repetitive (RGG has been using this formula for so long it's just boring, if you know you know). The game, overall, is tolerable... until the ending. Dark Ties is definitely a better experience than the base game with Mine even getting his own unique fighting style. It's no Kaito Files, but it's definitely worth your time... until the ending. RGG has been obsessed with shoehorning in the Daidoji into every single game. I can understand a little retconning when the games have evolved so much over the years, but it's gotten to the point where even core character altering events are being rewritten to show how powerful and influential the Daidoji are and I could not care less. They're one of those things that should've just been a footnote in Yakuza 6, but somehow they've bled into game after game. And, at this point, I'm expecting to see them even more. Overall, Yakuza Kiwami 3 is generally a playable game. Even disregarding Kagawa's unwanted addition, I'd still give this game a max of 4/10.
I'm 38 hours in and the game has been a blast. Personally, I enjoy this a lot more than the original.
I just started playing Yakuza series this year in february, and im right after finishing mainstory of Kiwami3, can't wait to play Dark Ties. Im aware of changes from original game, still want to play original, but TBH Kiwami 3 is best yakuza game that ive played so far (started from 0(og),k1,k2 and now k3). I finally felt WHO AM I PLAYING, and how powerfull is Kiryu. Im not competionist, probably will never 100% yakuza gemes, but if I will do 100%save at any yakuza game it has to be Kiwami3, I didnt wanted to do side content in other games, I just hate when games dont have dubbed sections(I dont care that i dont understand Japanese, just want it dubbed or i will just skip), but in this one i just fell in love in Orphanage and Hasai Girls Club and put all my focus on that at the start of the game. For newcommers: If youre like me, starting from 0,kiwami 1,kiwami 2 then you really should try Kiwami 3. For us changes are not that bad to sleep on this one and play OG, you will have a lot of fun - you just have to be aware that they changed ending a bit, you can watch it later on YT, The biggest bad change is cutscene AFTER END CREDITS, so you can just skip it, close your eyes or just pretend that you didnt saw that, and watch OG Yakuza 3 ending BANG- you just played more fun version of Yakuza3 without its ,,defects". I know that there are less scenes in Orphanage(I dont think they matter that much, Those which stayed i think still gives you full picture), and less Substories( 30+ rather than 100+) But if there were 100+ I would never want to do them anyway. TLDR: I recommand this for newcommers who didnt played OG yakuza3 yet, I love the combat on this one - best one ive played.
Rosto novo do Nakahara etc. Hamazaki: Toda a polêmica + estragaram a lore.
