Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

Quelle déception, j'en attendais beaucoup de ce remake de Yakuza 3 après les excellents remakes de Yakuza 1 et 2 mais il y a trop de problèmes. Pour commencer le gameplay a été ultra simplifié comparé à kiwami 2 ou gaiden ce qui le rends largement moins interessant et très vite répétitif vu que le gameplay va maintenant consister a juste spammer les touches sans vraiment de réflexion en plus d'avoir très peu de heat action. Les boss n'ont même plus de voice lines en plus de ne plus avoir le feel the heat. Les graphismes sont oscille entre pas mail ou plus moche que la version original qui était sorti en 2009. Les redesigns de Rikiya et Hamazaki sont ignobles (heureusement que des mods existe pour mettre les designs originaux). Plus d'une CENTAINE de quêtes secondaires ont été supprimés du jeu et certains mini-jeux aussi. Dark Ties qu'on nous avais vendu comme une grosse extension ne dure que 2-3 heures en ligne droite (7 heures en faisant les 13 pauvres quêtes secondaires et les quêtes fedex pourries dignes d'Ubisoft). La fin à été réécrite et retcon tous les Yakuza suivants en plus d'être écrite avec le cul [spoiler] Mine a survécu d'une chute de 50 étages et 5 balles dans le torse en tombant dans un buisson UN PUTAIN DE BUISSON LA CON DE TA MERE [/spoiler] Tous ces problèmes en font un remake à absolument éviter donc si vous voulez faire yakuza 3 faites yakuza 3 remastered même si ces bâtards de SEGA vous oblige à acheter un gros bundle de jeu Yakuza pour le prendre avec inclus ce scam de Yakuza 0 Directors cut vous pouvez toujours vous tourner vers GOG ou il est toujours en vente normalement pour 20€ ou soit 40€ de moins que ce SCAM

FInally bought it on sale. Despite the controversies and everything, it's still an OK game. Not the best but totally not the worst. If you havent play the original yakuza 3, it's better to start with this. But if you had, don't bother to play this. Buy it only on sale because I don't think it's worth it on full price. Still a fun game to play nevertheless. Most reviews are just nitpicking everything literally.

이전 극 시리즈에 비해 전투 시스템도 간소화 되었고. 단점도 많지만. 그 모든 단점은 용과 같이3 리마스터를 해보면 납득 할수 있다. 전 시리즈 통틀어서 가장 투박한 플레이를 할 수 밖에 없던, 용3를 극으로 이어서 할수 있다는점에서 모든 단점을 눈감아 주고 싶다. 극 4, 5, 6도 만들어줘 제발

Game was fun I can understand why people are mad at the ending but overall was very enjoyable. I would wait to buy this game until it is 25-30 as it is pretty short

bought 3 on gog and honestly i did not enjoy it, kiwami 3 though im having a hell of a time. also you can change outfits and stuff

The game is really good. Great even. If you have fun playing Yakuza games you will most likely enjoy this. It's a lower budget Gaiden title and it definitely shows, but the remake of 3 is well done and the Dark Ties side game, though short, is very fun as well. There's a lot of content to be had here, and I think it's worth full price if you love these games. If not, just wait for a sale. No big. That concludes my review of the game itself, and the rest of this review will be a rant about the once-great but now insufferable fanbase of Yakuza and how it's turned in to a parody of the terminally online, hate-fueled stan communities that plague the modern internet. You'll notice a trend in the negative Steam reviews. A few have salient criticism about the game itself, but most are cringey whiners pretending to fight a disingenuous culture war. Most of the negative reviews are complaining about the sex offender casting, the de-listing of the original Y3, or pining for the days of their golden boy Nagoshi (who, side note, just wasted 5 years and tens of millions of dollars making a basic looking Yakuza clone that still didn't even have a playable build before getting cancelled after he asked for 44 million more dollars). These negative reviews, of course, all have dozens upon dozens of hours played in Kiwami 3, showing a lack of any real conviction and that they don't actually care about any of these issues they repeat ad nauseum. This is a series whose fans still play the hell out of all of these games, but b**ch about them incessantly and pretend like it's because they're fighting for some abstract greater good. It's exhausting. The revisionist history that's sprung up around the original Yakuza 3 is hilarious. Up until even 6 months ago, it was agreed that it was the black sheep of the series. The hardest to get through. The most frustrating. Everyone rushed through it to get to the better games. But now suddenly since the most vocal section of the fanbase has collectively decided that "anything after Like a Dragon sucks, actually", it's a precious baby that must be protected at all costs. Compared to Kiwami 3, it's an objectively broken mess and anyone saying it's somehow better than the remake loses any credibility immediately. Everyone suddenly cares about a retcon that ultimately is not a big deal. They lack any kind of imagination, like the possibility of anything playing out differently in future remakes breaks their brain. They clutch their pearls and act like this series is some high art that shan't be touched. I assure you: It is not. It is a melodramatic Japanese crime drama with the goofiest s**t imaginable and it has been this way for decades. Things get changed, retconned, and re-made constantly and always have, dating back to even the earliest entries. Get over it, this isn't Shakespeare. I'm begging. Pleading. If you hate what Yakuza is now, either re-evaluate what you THINK it should be, or just stop. Stop playing. Play any of the other thousands of games out there. But I already know you won't. It's only a matter of time before the people throwing their last shred of hype behind Stranger than Heaven turn on it and say that actually... it sucks too! They'll then log 90+ hours and post their "Not Recommended" review about how great Yakuza used to be and how much RGG is ruining their life while continuing to be sucked ever downward in to an eternally miserable vortex of their own making.

I liked this game. I think it's a very good Yakuza installment, with excellent combat. Kiwami 2 already achieved a very high level in this regard, but Kiwami 3 is even slightly better in this. Narrative-wise, it's still standard Yakuza – outstanding story, characters, dialogue. However, the game falls a step below Kiwami 2 for me for several reasons: 1. The removal of a huge number of subquests compared to Yakuza 3. They removed probably several dozen subquests, leaving about 30, and this is felt throughout the game, as some chapters are completely devoid of side content; there's nothing to do in them, and you just jump right into the main story. I understand the developers' goal was to retain the highest-quality subquests, but I think they removed too many. 2. Morning Glory/Hasai Girls - these are the two main storylines in Kiwami 3, but I simply didn't enjoy either. I only did them to the extent necessary for the main storyline; the sewing, cooking, homework, whole Hasai mini-games were really weak, and I could have spent 10+ more hours with this game, but I didn't want to.
