Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Excellent opus !

Amazing Game, Worth it
Chronologically Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the third game in the series and the first to utilize the "new" Dragon Engine. What immediately surprised me was the significantly improved graphics and the fluid, vibrant atmosphere of the Kamurocho and Sotenbori districts. You can enter many shops and buildings without encountering a loading screen. The story takes place one year after Yakuza Kiwami 1. I enjoyed it, even though a few plot reveals didn't make much sense. There is a strong emphasis on nostalgia, and unresolved plot threads are revisited, leading to some powerful emotional moments. I really liked Ryuji Goda, the game's antagonist, he isn't just a generic villain but is built up as a direct counterpart to Kiryu. In the new combat system, your Heat bar fills up faster, giving you more opportunities to execute high-damage Heat Actions. There is also "Extreme Heat Mode," which allows Kiryu to deal more damage and access different Heat Actions. While Kiryu had four fighting styles with distinct strengths and weaknesses in the previous two games, Kiwami 2 limits him to a single combat mode. This quickly becomes boring because there is essentially only one effective combo. The music is excellent once again, effectively underscoring the game's intense moments! For completionists, there is both good and bad news: Kiwami 2 is the easiest of the three Yakuza titles released so far, but also the most tedious to complete. The Cabaret Club minigame from Yakuza 0 returns, and there are over 70 "Bouncer" combat missions (though all but the final one are quite dull). The "Clan Creator" mode,a sort of tower-defense game,is among the most boring minigames in the title. The Mahjong grind can also be incredibly long and frustrating at times. All in all, despite its rough edges, Kiwami 2 is a good game and I can highly recommend it for its story.
Bolado
This did not paint a pretty picture for my first impressions. The combat was pretty frustrating at first since options felt too limited for avoiding and dealing damage, and it's not helped by enemies' lack of obvious telegraphing. I did get the hang of it around the middle of the story... but then it becomes laughably easy since the protagonist becomes so ridiculously overpowered. It was pretty common for me to go, "wait, that was it?" after the later boss fights. Even the hyped up finale was piss easy. The story's certainly better than most, but it did have a few goofy moments that took away from it. Despite the somewhat painful opening hours, I decided to stick with it because I could see that RGG packed in tons of different content, and boy I’m glad I did. The side content offering is one of the best I’ve played with. You can manage a cabaret club, order guys to fight off goons to defend your construction company, and a bunch of minigames with their own little progression systems to take a break from fist fighting. It truly feels like a virtual playground. The side quests are great, some of which are the funniest I’ve ever seen. If you do go into this, make sure to lock it to 60 FPS or lower if you don't want wacky physics. At 120, enemies and breakable objects would often get launched into the stratosphere. BTW, this is a slight remaster of the original and now delisted Kiwami 2. The main difference is the quality of life changes like upscaling options and having DLCs included for free that give you extra items.
