Гра досить цікава, як і попередні частини. Сюжет вийшов досить заплутаний через купу різних багатоходовок та зрад, але в цілому зрозумілий. Досить непогано в цілому розкрито особу Саеджими (вкинуту ще у Якудзі 0). Досить кінематографічні катсцени як зазвичай в серії, та дуже класні динамічні інтро для бос файтів (особливо у фіналі)

It's a game from 2010, and it shows in every element. The main story and Kiryu's quarter (+his subquests) were good, the rest – meh. I didn't care for the other three characters at all; I didn't do a single subquest with them. Furthermore, the gameplay is prehistoric – movement, combat, indicators, items, map, save system – the whole thing is slow, junky mess. You have to forgive a lot of things to enjoy this game.

It is truly a shame Tanimura is trapped in yakuza 4 and we will never see him again outside of rgg online. Besides that this game is genuinely peak, top 5 yakuza games fr. This is a must play.
