...I can't believe I am getting to defend Slingshot People. I think I've played every GameGuru title that hit Steam this year & up until now I thought Slingshot People was going to be the worst one. However that game did receive a fair few updates & I at least got the sense that the developer was trying to make a game & had an intended vision for the gameplay in it (I played it again after each of the first 4 or 5 updates & I do not think it worked at all to make a good game, but I do get the sense that they were trying). This though is pedestrian even for GameGuru, the terrain is the main variant for what seemed like an endless set of maps in the half hour it took to finish it; you run past all the various zombie assets we all know & love because they can't animate fast enough to get anywhere near the sprinting player. There isn't even the pretense of the "puzzles" that other GameGuru releases have such as 'find a key' or 'the door is locked, find something other than a key to break it down'; you just run through the maps until you spot the glaring coloured lights around the christmas tree through the massive fog that blankets most of the level & then you get another long loading screen which is a woman showing you her nude back in her short shorts & santa hat, which I suppose is the reason for the nudity tag. Is uncovered back nudity? I guess it is. Anyway, this game is quite a boring, copy & paste affair that felt entirely too long with a half hour of gameplay (given I ran past everything & there wasn't any reason to bother the zombies who didn't really seem bothered by my running for presents, they were probably just enjoying the snow & half of them probably couldn't see me through the fog), plus at $7 discounted & 10 full price, this isn't even recommended for collectors of bad games on Steam like me. Humbug. Zombie Humbug.

Why is there "nudity" as one of the tags? The only exposure is a pretty girl seen from the back wearing panties during loading screens, there's no nakedness at all. The game itself is a technically sufficient FPS where you walk around snowy and very bright linear environments shooting the same two kinds of zombies. Graphics appear to be from the early 2000's, though from the ten minutes I could take it must admit everything worked fine, no glitches. It's just completely pointless even if it's nearly free.

No, just no. "Why?" you ask? Look at my playtime... I FINISHED the game in that time. I goofed around in the first level, amazed by the poor hit detection, non-existent AI, lack of UI (or options for that matter) and atrocious level design (mostly due to Turok-levels of fog (N64 version)). So how did I manage to be this quick? You get new weapons and a semblance of terrain diversity to fight of hordes of braindead enemies that actually..... don't need any fighting.... you just run past them, because your unit can sprint quite quickly. While sprinting you are basically immortal as the enemies cannot hit you for ♥♥♥♥♥, and since the only goal in this game is to reach the exit (a random christmas tree and some presents somewhere on the map) i just ran past everything. I would have tried fighting, if was any fun, but all the levels have pretty much the same enemies over and over again and the weapons feel atrocious. I was bored after a single level since there is nothing here to keep my interest, like a story, "hot gurlz" or noteworthy effort from the devs. Avoid this time waster and buy something else during steam sales for the same price with ungodly more entertainment value. Luckily, I got this a joke gift from a buddy and didn't pay anything for it, otherwise I would have refunded.

So I bought the game and beaten it. It took me 40 minutes. For 3,39€, is it worth. NO. It doesn't even have trading cards. The game is too short for it's price, it haves dumb zombie AI and is very poorly optimized, partly due to lack of graphic options. However, this on one of better GameGuru games on Steam. Level design seem consistent, the game is not 10 minutes long and the graphic is pretty good, even on lowest settings. 3/10

this has to be the most pointless zombie shoter game ive ever played! running past the zombies , they dont attack , standing right next to zombies they dont attack! ive had more fun playing with windows 95 paint ! do not buy !

1. Эта игра не стоит и запрашиваемых 29 рублей с 90% скидкой (на момент написания за нее хотел аффтар, аж 299р.). Плохо абсолютно всё (кроме фотографий с полуобнаженными "миссис сантами"). Интеллект противников на нуле, а самый главный враг в ней - отвратительный мыльный графоуни и дальность видимости в пару метров, + периодически не срабатывающие скрипты в конце уровня (нужно бегать прыгать вокруг ёлок, чтобы они хоть как-то отреагировали) 2. Зажав shift спокойно пробежал 7 линейных уровней за 7 минут, ни с кем не вступая в бой - после чего вышел из игры и удалил её 3. Сделана на GameGuru - т.е. любой желающий посидев пару часов с мануалом сможет сделать ровно такую-же "игру" не прилагая каких либо усилий. Шляпа шляпная! Позиционирует себя как зомби-экшн, но по мне так даже тетрис увлекательнее этой игры. Минусы: - Плохая оптимизация (GTA5 идёт на ультра, но эта игра тормозит). - Нету карты, непоказыно количество патронов. - Не понятно что с оттенками света, такое ощущение что у главно героя приступы мигрени всю игру. - Зомби глупые как моя бывшая, плюс очень похожи на неё внешне. Плюсы: +Клёвые треки, не понятно нафига они здесь, так как не вписываются в картину игры совершенно. +Симпотная тёлочка в главном меню и симпотная задница в меню загрузки. Всё, я кончил. 6 тупорылых треков из 10.

Als Gameguru Nutzer weiß ich, das in diesem Spiel mehr Arbeit steckt als man meinen möchte. Ich finde gut, dass das Hauptmenü schön gestaltet wurde... ( generell alle ladebildschirme und screens ) Da habe ich schon liebloseres gesehen. Optisch wurde bei Xmas Zombie Rampage auf jeden Fall alles aus gameguru herausgeholt. Die Landschaften sehen klasse aus und wenn die Musik ein wenig ruhiger ist, kommt tatsächlich Atmosphäre auf ! Wirklich gut gemacht - Level bauen hat der Entwickler definitiv drauf. Das leveldesign selber ist meistens linear gehalten, nur stellenweise gibt es etwas offenere Areale. Zur Musik: Ist sicherlich passend für diese Art von Spiel, wenn auch nicht ganz mein Fall. Ein paar ruhigere Tracks sind auch dabei, die mir sehr gut gefallen haben. Natürlich mangelt es dem Spiel nicht an Waffen. Alles was gameguru so bietet ist hier vertreten. Der Raketenwerfer hat mir am meisten Spaß gemacht ;) Als Schwäche sehe ich die (gameguru typisch) unterirdische KI, aber da kann man nicht viel machen. Dieses Problem wäre wohl nur mit tieferen Programmierkenntnissen zu lösen. Ihren Job machen die Zombies allemal, jedoch muss man sich wirklich dämlich anstellen um hier zu sterben. ( Wie ich einmal, als ich stehengeblieben bin ) Fazit: Simpler Shooter für zwischendurch, mit schönen Levels, abgedrehter Musik und knapp bekleideten Frauen, die sich wohl nur durch warme Gedanken vor dem erfrieren retten. Die Kleidung ist schön, aber alles andere als zweckmäßig ;) Sonderlich viel Abwechslung wird hier nicht geboten, und auch die KI ist mangelhaft. Aber für ein bisl rumgeballer für zwischendurch, warum nicht?
