Easily one of the best racing games I've ever played, hard to believe this game is being sold for a ~single buck around here. Great tracks, great OST. If you love racing games like F-Zero GX, PLEASE, give this game a try. My only complaint about this game is the lack of customizable controls for both keyboard and controller. There's also a 3D Beat'em Up section in the story for some reason.
12 minutes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playable. ive never played such an unforgiving track against ai that crush you in a second if you bump into even one wall
I really wanted to like this game, sadly, no. The racing is fun and sense of speed great, good soundtrack too, but it's severely held back with useless padding and locking content behind annoying progression. Buy Screamer or BallisticNG instead. Good luck to the developers, but that's my consumer advice.
First ever review I'm giving! I was looking for a new racing game to pick up and found this one through Spark 3, and I wanted to try out some more of Feperd's stuff. For reference in terms of playtime, I just finished the story. However, I will absolutely be putting in more hours because this game is awesome! Not only does the racing itself feel incredible and insanely well responsive, the OST is amazing (and I will be listening to it regularly now), and the sci-fi environments and characters of this universe are very creative and unique. It's absolutely perfect for any space lovers. You will require patience to play this game, and I think that's a good thing. You can't easily hop right in and win races, you must spend time learning essentials and practicing. With the right amount of practice, the majority of the story is easy, with some exceptions. Some races towards the end will require several attempts and may be frustrating, but stick with it! There are a few bugs here and there, including some regarding the No-Go zones I've seen mentioned by others. The fact that the only other issue I noticed was minor typos in the English is insanely impressive for a solo developer. Definitely one of the best gaming experiences I've had recently, and I highly recommend you try it!
It's very bold for anyone to make the attempt to recreate the best racing game of all time (F-Zero GX), but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does this game make a STRONG attempt. Anyone as familiar with F-Zero GX as I am will feel the difference, but while the game isn't as... finely tuned? in the controls department as GX, it still plays beautifully. If I had to give it two more big complaints, it's that the feedback for hitting walls and other racers is next to zero, which I think is a sound reason as the sound effects are weirdly quiet. The other big complaint is that it seems the machine designs after all the portrait characters seem to be very... same-y? Which doesn't make it feel exciting to unlock them later. I've only dabbled in the story mode, spending a majority of my time in the arcade mode to just race to my heart's content, but what I've seen of the story mode is really interesting as a form of 3rd person action, racing challenges, and customization. I'll probably need to rewrite this review once I finish the game proper but as of now? Fantastic game. I hope it gets more updates!
Great game overall. Breaths new life into the Anti-Gravity Racing genre, while also remaining familiar enough to jump into for F-Zero/Wipeout veterans. Arcade mode is what you've come to expect from racers. Pick a cup and a racer and you're off. What might surprise you is the amount of tracks. There are (if I counted correctly) 55 tracks to race through. Plenty of the tracks are challenging and will keep you hooked trying to beat the AI on the hardest difficulty. Story mode scratches a long time itch I've had. You start off with a pretty terrible vehicle and are able to customize it greatly, replacing and upgrading parts as you get the money for them. Each day you have to choose between working a dead end job to earn money or participating in underground races to build reputation. Once you have enough reputation, several sponsors will flock to you and you will be earning more money than you know what to do with. But it's the balancing act between getting better parts and performing maintenance on your vehicle that keeps it interesting. The story has a few mysteries that dangle infront of you to give you a goal, but overall isn't much more than set dressing for your races. I would like to see mod support or a custom track maker for the game. While 55 tracks is a lot, you repeat the same tracks over and over again in story mode. Adding several new ones would help reduce the repetitiveness. There is some polish missing like the tutorial being displayed every time the game is started, some of the platforming moves displaying untextured test levels, and the controls not being rebindable to name a few. However I feel like these are minor compared to how great the rest of the game is. I hope it sells well enough for the developer to continue to support it into the future.
After the disappointing event that was the June 9th 2026 Nintendo Direct, I was peeved that we didn't get any F-Zero news. However, one of my friends directed my attention to this game to satisfy the thirst for maximum velocity. If you like F-Zero, you might just enjoy this game.
holy sh*t ! finally a real f-zero sucessor, if not even better... this is the real deal atm. if your into anti grav racers, totally recommended. edit: after playing a while and make some progress in the story mode... the devs know what they did, they know want they wanted, race mechanics, (unique) track design, soundtrack, it´s nearly perfect and you feel the afford, passion & love they put into this. well done... it`s good stuff. and no rubberbanding... a real big +
ees good
An absolute must if you like AG, particularly F-Zero. But it also has a cool adventure side to it as well. Reminds me of Sonic, the 90s and the early 2000s.
