Another twin stick shooter with average graphics where you destroy incoming waves of saw-like ships. Campaign mode is simple - complete planet and move on to the next one. Gameplay is not bad but it lacks more variety like different weapons and such so it become rather boring after a while. No structure in gameplay like different waves or formation of enemies, everyone is just flying randomly and rush towards your ship when close. Controls are good and responsive. Recommend if you're really craving for top down shooter otherwise just skip on this title.
A space dragon fighting agains chainsaws on rockets sound really cool but the execution is as bland as it gets. Movement is indeed fast and responsive but doesn't feel like anything flying through space. It's more like these old school 8-bit shooters from years ago. You collect random upgrades by killing bosses and these stay on your account forever. That sounds like a good thing, but that means meaningful upgrades are very far between and none of them really gives the player that much of an advantage either. All levels are basically the same: a few waves of suicidal enemies and a boss fight at the end, each level with increasing difficulty. Graphics, sound, music, everything is simple and it already looks a bit dated. Although the sound effects do have a good oomph to them. The UI is also very basic and has its issues. After switching from 4k to 1080p, the game can't be switched back to a higher resolution because of how it shows all options: an unscrollable block of text that doesn't fit on screen anymore. The game also crashes once in a while and support seems to be long gone. And don't get fooled by the trailer on the store page. It requires hours on hours to get close to that level of upgrades. Quite bad.
Довольно средненький аркадный шутер. На первой же карте, после очередной волны, остались просто мины и астероиды, не было врагов. Полетал минут 15, поискал - нет, действительно только мины. Ну и дальше пытаться играть не стал :)
I do remember buying this game very early, I guess it was on Steam for about 5 years in early access. I just don't know what changed in 5 years, it's like the dev just put the game there and waited 5 years and finally decided that they are not going to do anything anymore so that's it. The UI is as simple as a Unity game could be, like it's made by someone who's just learning how to make UI in Unity: just buttons and text boxes. The graphics may be OK when the game was first released, but looks outdated now. It's extremely grindy, every level looks pretty much the same, you fight 10 waves of enemies. There could be asteroids and explosives and maybe other stuff later, but yeah, it's always shoot around for 10 minutes every level. And you probably unlock or upgrade 2 weapons/equipments to use. There are a lot of them, and much more if you try to combine with different shells or elements. That sounds cool but to unlock all it would probably be ~10 hours later in the game, and that's shooting around the same-ish enemies in the same-ish levels for ~10 hours. Besides there's no gold or exp or anything, if you fail a level, you get nothing. Back then I thought it could be fun to kill some spare time, now coming back I really do regret buying this.

Would be fun if it didnt constantly crash and the camer wasnt so shacky.
This game is fun enough if it would work, but every 5 to 10 minutes it freezes and then crashes. Its basically unplayable in this state.
Right, so apparently I'm a space dragon now. Fighting chainsaws. On rockets. I mean, that sounds mental enough to work, doesn't it? Like something you'd pitch after too many pints down the local. "What if... what if dragons fought power tools in space?" Brilliant. Except it's not. This is basically what happens when someone's nan tries to make a video game. "Oh, you just move around and shoot things, how hard can it be?" Very hard, as it turns out. The whole thing feels like it was coded by someone who once saw a screenshot of Asteroids and thought, "Yeah, I can do that, but with more nonsense." The upgrades are more pointless than a vegan at a barbecue competition. You spend ages grinding through the same tedious waves of flying death machinery, thinking "surely this next upgrade will make it interesting," and then... nothing. It's like ordering a curry and getting a bowl of lukewarm rice water. And the graphics? Christ. I've seen more impressive visuals on a microwave display. The UI looks like it was designed by someone who thinks Comic Sans is "a bit too fancy." The trailer makes it look like some epic space opera - it's more like watching paint dry, if paint was really boring and also somehow disappointing. Look, if you're absolutely desperate for something to do between waiting for the kettle to boil and checking if you've got any biscuits left, then knock yourself out. But honestly? You'd have more fun staring at a wall. At least walls don't promise you dragon-on-chainsaw action and then deliver the gaming equivalent of watching your uncle try to use a smartphone. Overall? Yeah, it's not great.
Runs nearly flawlessly on the Steam Deck, 60FPS and all. The classic Asteroids reimagined as a twin-stick shooter bullethell, you play as a customizable cyberdragon in space fighting against UFO buzzsaws, sword-chainsaw ships, and a variety of other enemies with both sci-fi and other sorts of more exotic weapons; beating bosses randomly gets you new weapons, upgrades to existing, as well as upgrades to your own skills and sometimes new skills to choose from. You will need to revisit earlier bosses if you get stuck on later levels to get upgrades to compensate for your lack of skill (or just to practice more); you don't lose upgrades if you die, just have to start the map over but you keep whatever you earned.
Only thing missing here is a slot to eat quarters.
