Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 14 → 18.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Man, this game didn't age well. I played it years ago when it was released, and this was an amazing game back in a day, but right now it's a really weak game. I'm currently replaying it with War of the Chosen DLC, which I had for a long time just didn't got around to actually play it. Gameplay is super weak for today's standards. No directional Overwatch, RNG hit / miss mechanic, too much story blabbing even during turn based combat, hand holding player in every aspect, you need to rush missions just because most of them have a timer. Same on global map, can't to Event because side mission has timer. You can't fail mission, if you fail any of mission objective it's game over. What a cr@ppy mechanic. Customization of your soldiers is very limited, and the Anarchy DLC which ads more cosmetics to that is one of the worst collection of skins I have ever seen. The War of the Chosen does not anything new to base game troops, just 2 new classes I think (tweaked sniper and melee class with grappling hook). New enemies are just rehashed Xcom 1 and Xcom 2 enemy variants. Overall the game is just boring. I don't recommend buying it today. Much better were Midnight Suns, or Gears Tactics. The upcoming SW Zero Company will be probably better too. Xcom 2 forces savescumming, since if you're unlucky and RNG decides to give you a mission early in the game, where you command a squad of 4 rookies, which don't even have a soldier class assigned or any meaningful equipment, you might get a mission to kill a bunch of elite enemies and destroy beacon device in just 3 - 4 turns. Where said beacon is placed at the second end of the map. There are no alternate paths to sneak in, and to shoot your way out in middle of the map and around the beacon, you need like 8 -10 turns. But game will not tell you mission was failed and it's game over after 3 turns, it ill waste your time till you kill every enemy, but beacon was lost, then it will tell you Xcom was destroyed, game over. This is one of early missions in this game, if RNG is not on your side. Xcom 2 at it's essence. Completely idiotic mechanic. Why player can't lose mission and evac? Anyway, if you plan to play this better make sure you have a backup save before mission in base.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

waste of time
Juegazo, no necesitas mas, si te gusta matar alienigenas y te molan los crpg aqui tienes uno de los mejores jeugos. 90% de acierto y fallas ¿que mas quieres?
Good game, one of the best, still in 2026.
Great game. Sometimes get way too attached to my soldiers just for them to die mid mission.
Waited a long time to play this game bc I loved the first one. I bought it with the War of the Chosen and I'm playing on normal and I must say, I'm not enjoining it so far. Yes there are a few cool new mechanics (like soldiers bond) and factions are cool but man there are a lot of cons. The fighting system and the missions got worse compared to the first one...the percentage calculation is bonkers and everything feel off. The UI is buggy (I'm playing on a Mac atm), the camera, that used to be super cool is bugged as well and clunky; during opponents turns jumps around like crazy and a lot of time you will stare at a wall while an opponent overwatch shoots you through terrain and walls. In the first one I used to play without re-loading and just accept the losses but here, I've been reloading constantly because of the stupidity of some deaths. I'm still going to give it a chance and trying to finish the campaign but so far if I have to sum up the experience : TEDIOUS
