Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I've figured the game out and everything, but in my opinion it's a game designed by the devs that should only be played by the devs. When I'm fighting my d*** ship geography to get out of my spacesuit (while bouncing around a gravity-induced dock...) and back into the ship, when I have to "repair" something and there's no information on what repairs it... when delivering a "fine meal" means trading in three different stations.. I think 20 hrs is enough time to say it's just not very fun.
This... is not fun. On paper, it's Freelancer meets Homeworld. In practice, it's the box art of Privateer meets No Man's Sky on launch day. It APPEARS to be some attempt at procedurally generated variations on scripted goals. At least from what I can tell after working through the clumsy but straight-forward tutorials, and then starting three different "open world" games that all gave me variations on the same quest, then sent me off in the weakest starter ship ever to starter into pirates' nests 100% guaranteed to vaporize it. -Goals and travel are unclear. -Early balance is poor. -Equipment/ship options APPEAR to be quite limited for the scope of the game, but that very well may have been addressed in the many DLCs that I'm not going to buy to find out. -There is an achievement for "Successfully launch the game", that 35% of game owners have. That says enough. Got it super-cheap on a winter sale, and then let it sit in my library too long to get a refund on. If this was full-price I'd waste WAY more than the purchase price in labor hours fighting for a refund.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Enjoyable game if you got more time to spare then a stellaris playthrough but unlike stellaris THIS GAME SUCKS TO MOD! Now like most game when an update comes out it usually breaks all the mods so trying to find which mod is crashing the game can be tedious. This game also doesnt have a very active player base so some mods are just lost to the abyss but for this game in particular is arguably the worse i have ever seen in gaming. First, this game doesnt give you a crash report so if you want to fiqure out whats crashing the game your going to have to turn on one mod at a time. Now this wouldnt be too bad if it wasnt for the fact that unsubscribing from the mod doesnt remove it from the game. it still shows up on extension which still holds the mods information. So you physically go into the files and delete that specific mod which doesnt help that some mods dont provide the files name.
One of my favorite games of all time, and it just keeps getting better.

8 years trying and the 9.00 release is still not a game for noobs with little time to ease in. The starter mission (cadet) is like a test you need to cram for. After an hour+ deciphering mission goals and the cryptic UI, I watched a 15 minute walkthrough that was more fun. I bet it's a lovely game if you are able to overcome the learning cliff.

Would not recommend for anyone not already familiar with the frustrating jankiness of the X series. The game can become playable with heavy reliance on external guides and tools but will always feel hostile to the player expierience. Abyssmal UI, obtuse systems and a shallow narrative make sure that any enjoyment found here is reliant entirely on the player being content play in the sandbox and finding their own fun. There's no living world here, no real factions or narratives. There's storylines that are cumbersome to play and matter little. Empire building has no point in a universe inhabited by ants moved only by basic imulse reaction. The game may trick you for a while, dazzling by how much stuff there's in here, but eventually you'll see that none of it matters, its just stuff, tons of stuff haphazardly crammed into a box without ever really becoming an actualy, cohesive game.
Great game. However you will be overwhelmed with death by 1000 papercuts after you get further into the game. Frustration after frustration with the AI once you starting having to manage 50+ ships and stations.
Wtf is this game bro! You get thrown into a mission where you have to scan down something. No one tells you what nor where, you find something and get blasted while flying to a location suggested by the quest givers. Like wtf this is the very first mission after the tutorial lmao why does it have to be that hard uninstalled and refunded
