It is the year 2938. The long wished-for encounter of the X Universe and the Earth holds both joy and sorrow for the people. Despite flourishing trade, the clash of the diverse races, cultures and life forms creates new tensions, mistrust and open conflict that need to be overcome!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's X3, what's to say? It's my fav because you can be friends wilt all the races without it affecting relationships with others. Which puts me off the everything after this one.
Do you like any kind of tutorialization at all in your game? Do you like games that actually give you ways to figure out how get the tools you need to complete the missions it starts throwing at you before penalizing you for failing them? Do you like missions that aren't mathematically impossible to complete, or that actually give you some way of knowing whether or not they're doable before you accept them? Do you like ship retrieval missions where the ship you're retrieving is actually fast enough to be capable of getting where it needs to go before the hour-long timer expires? Do you like assassination missions where it is actually possible to reach your target in the fastest ship you can get before the timer runs down? Or, if the game does throw impossible jobs at you, you like being able to turn down or cancel the mission without penalty once you realize your ship can only cross two sectors in the time you've been given and the target is four sectors away? Do you like being able to hit the broad side of a barn without finding and buying an upgrade we don't tell you you need and then also don't tell you how to turn on? What about games where you're actually able to have some idea of who's shooting at you and which direction the damage is coming from? And how about games where, if a single missile is instant death even with your ship fully upgraded, we actually give you a way to reliably target the missile and shoot it down instead of having to keep cycling through every enemy ship in the sector before maybe it decides to take pity on you and highlight the incoming doom before you have to reload your prior save yet again? Do you like games about managing vast remote trading fleets where your giant freighters *don't* lose all their shields and die to a handful of light fighters before the "Alert, ship under attack" announcement even finishes playing? How about games about buying and upgrading ships where there are actually guns available to buy, and they're not permanently sold out at every single equipment dock in the galaxy so no matter how hard you look you're stuck with the same two laser cannons that your starting ship comes with forever? Do you like your merchant sims to contain people who will actually *buy* the things you've purchased that are currently taking up freight space as you cross the whole galaxy searching for anyone who will take it off your hands? Do you like games where the gamepad bindings actually stick, and don't have to be manually rebound every single time you load a save just to be capable of basic menu navigation? Well too bad, we don't do any of that here. There is, allegedly, an interesting space sandbox under here. The game seems very determined to keep finding new and inventive ways to keep me from ever experiencing it.
