If it was finished it'd be my favorite game
Jank in both style and substance. FPS is unstable and oscillates like crazy despite fridge graphics, and it seems to be locked at 60 no matter what. Gunplay is unsatisfying from the get go and so is the inventory/organ space management (why is the grid size 3 tiles wide but enemies drop 2x2 organs? That's peak player frustration 5 minutes into the game lol). Enemy TTK is too high compared to yours, I would much rather have more enemies that aren't so tanky. AI aim and damage is also too good, especially at short ranges, and the slide serves absolutely no purpose other than taking your shift key slot. The vibe is off. Dialogue reads like schizo nonsense, and names are just as ridiculous. A drug called Kill-f***? And a town named S***Heim? I'm all for stupid dystopian aesthetics but come on... Got it on sale for half-price and still wouldn't recommend at quarter price, let alone 17 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BUCKS. Only try it if you love weird freaky passion-project games. Hard pass otherwise.
cool game, really just not fun gameplay though. It has absurdly quick ttk that makes all your organ rpg stats pretty much irrelevant when you end up facing any enemy that deals high damage. From what I could tell there's no way to increase your organ storage and while the biopunk flare and setting is awesome. It loses all it's charm when you go to a town called "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and use drugs called "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and it demands the player to not care. There is one extra special mechanic, that being hill sliding like tribes. Except due to this going extra firm on the boomer shooter arcadey feel, there's perfect air movement. So there's no momentum preservation after sliding that you can apply to moving through the air, instead you can cancel the momentum to move around in the air, or just keep sliding on the ground. Since this only works on downhills it also makes it rather situational making it just a questionable mechanic to have in the first place.
very engaging and entertaining concept besides poor optimization and a pile of bugs
Miziziziz I watched devlogs for this, bought it at launch, found it almost unplayable. Waited for it to be fixed, and he almost did, but abandoned it. Just because we like his YT videos doesn't make this game good, doesn't make the bugs acceptable and it doesn't make the incomplete nature of this any better. He got burnt out, bored, whatever, but people still like the idea and the personality behind it. This game is incredibly difficult but that's not the problem. Organs degrade to fast to be useful, combat is paced weirdly, constant bugs, very little story, not much to do. It's a wonderful concept but it's just unfinished.
Very jank, really feel like a lot of time wasn't spent on game feel
It is very fun, the movement feels good and the quests are intuitive so I never felt lost. The organ optimization allows for many different builds and synnergies with some weapons. Overall the game felt a bit shorter than I'd like, but each stage felt unique and saturated with content. I was always interested and engaged.
this game is extremely crashy, and the combat is kinda eh. The story doesn't save it neither. It's interesting and the soundtrack is great, but it's steeply priced all considered. There isn't much game and what is there is eh.
got laid after eating a bunch of people.
