I have played this game in one form or another since it was released. Some games are so well designed that they become timeless. Worms Armageddon is still the best party game, best multiplayer game, and the best time sink you can have on the PC. The humor of your own making when you botch a shot can bring you to tears in ways both in laughter and pain and I wouldn't have it any other way. Understand I feel this way about all the 2d worms games. In my view they all are great fun games and going back to Armageddon shows how little needs to be changed. So I also picked up the Anniversary Edition for PS5 and Switch. The extra content really make that worth while. The interviews, Design Docs, and Old handheld and 16-bit ports are great additions and the main gameplay is spot on as well. 2 problems arise from the anniversary edition, one is that there is no way to scale down the graphics so on a 4k TV everything looks so small. I have a 1080p Monitor and if i set the pc version of the game to 1080p it looks just as small but the pc version can set different resolutions setting the game to 1280x720 blows up the playfield and makes it much more enjoyable to play. Wish I had that option on the console. The second issue with the anniversary edition is at least in the US at the time I get on there is no one in the lobby to play multiplayer. SO buy the console edition to get the extra content and continue to play on PC till you get a Steambox.

Older than me and still better than most modern games at ruining friendships. Great classic.
