World Seed Classic

A really interesting game which you will find yourself throwing plenty of time into. It's not at all action packed which is probably why I like it, compared to most other games I play. I find myself checking every hour I'm at the computer for dungeons and to see who is online. The one thing this game needs is more players. Definitely recommend the game, but I would try it out on the website first, for free. Then if you like it, support the developer by picking up the steam version.

I very much enjoy this game, the combat is automated but you have a lot of choices in how you build your character with the crafting, socketing and enchanting systems. There are various elemental defenses and affects to be aware of, so for example if you made a dodge build, you would want to be wary of fighting water creatures since they can bypass dodge mechanics. For them you could make a separate set of gear for example. You can easily switch gear sets and build ones for specific purposes which is quite fun. I find myself not realizing the time while playing, mainly because you are searching each grid for creatures/money/resources while going to the four towns to check their quest boards. However each hour everything shifts and resets, so you have new quests, a new grid to explore which keeps it fresh since you never know what you'll find. The end game is also very interesting in how you collect seeds which are basically items you equip that generate a world of just that element, you can tier them up just like all other things in the game to make them harder but offer more loot. Lots to do which I enjoy. The developer is very active on discord, listening to feedback, explaining mechanics or questions, brainstorming with players. Can't really ask for more in a developer. The community is also very pleasant, everyone helps each other.

not really good i do not recommend and there is no tutorial

Great game! I went int thinking 30 hours of gameplay would be good value for money for a 5 euro game but i ended up hooked <3. It's still in Beta and I've already played for 143 hours and I feel like there's much left to do! This game has immense potential and an addicting grind to it. What makes it even greater is the helpful tight community who will always lend a helping hand with clearing difficult dungeons and the constant active Dev input. Overall 10/10 well done!

Good game, but it lacks a bit of visual and sound feedback while you are in fights. It got a bit old after a while, because your gathering of ressources and fighting isnt presented very exciting.

Really addicting & awesome game!

As many others have said, the game is free online and buying on steam is to support the dev. World Seed has a solid structure to it, and is very balanced in the way stats are given. There is only 1 choice that you're locked in to, and that is race, but it is a mostly cosmetic choice and doesn't affect gameplay in a negative way. There is a nice community, lots of things to progress to, lots of stats to balance and item builds to make, dungeons, a small form of pvp, and lots of item variations. This is a great game to play casually, and I truly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the tabletop feel and old rpgs.

This game is AMAZING if you like any of its tags just get it. It starts slow but the community is LOVELY and there is a lot on offer here, and more content and fixes are being added constantly. One part PVP min/max build simulator, one part community dungeon runner, one part rare loot hoarder - it has everything, wrapped up in such a unique shell. If you like numbers, rogue likes, or just really unique games, - you are going to love world seed. 9/10

Ich habe das spiel Via Steam kennengelernt und später festgestellt, dass es im Web kostenlos spielbar ist. Find ich nicht schlimm, da ich das warscheinlich trotzdem gekauft hätte zum supporten. Habe das auch gleich einem Kumpel mit eingepackt. Ich spiele über steam als auch hin und wieder über Browser. Über das Spiel: Eine Spielwelt mit vier Biomen, welche im Quadrat ähnlich wie ein Schachbrett angeordnet ist und im Zentrum jedes Bioms befindet sich eine Stadt. Hier wird man versorgt mit Quests, kann Waffen und Ausrüstung craften, material aufwerten, Ausrüstung verbessern usw. . Dazu hat jedes Biom ein Dungeon. Materialien sowie Ausrüstung können aufgelevelt werden, indem man 3 gleiche teile zu einem höherwertigeren zusammenführt. Das Equipment bestimmt die Spielerstufe bzw.stäke. Es gibt in diesem Spiel die sogenannten Seeds, welches beim ausrüstetn den Spieler in eine andere Welt bringen welches nur ein Biom repräsentiert und es gibt jetzt aktuell 5 verschiedene (Feuer, Natur, Eis, Void und Wasser) mit jeweils einem Dungeon. Spielprinzip ist recht simpel, aber durch das geschickte aufwertsystem und den Seeds wird aus dem oberflächlich erscheinendem Spiel ein spiel mit Tiefe. Vorallem da die Seeds auch aufgelevelt werden können und man so insgesammt 51 spielflächen erhält. Dazu gibt es das Prinzip der Affinität der Elemente, welches jede Rasse leicht unterscheidet und man kann diese durch Materialien verstärken. Um nicht in allzuviele Details zu versinken: Hier ist Grinden und farmen gefragt. Nach wenigen stunden hat man das meiste entdeckt und es wiederholt sich ständig. Für alle Material-Messis und durchhaltende Jäger ist es gut geeignet. Viel Aktion oder Story wird hier nicht geboten, wird aber auch nicht benötigt. Multiplayer beschränkt sich lediglich auf Dungeons (mit bis zu vier spielern gemeinsam) und ein Land Claimen(einquadratisches Feld) ggf. durch pvp ist hier nicht mehr. Die Comunity ist super freundlich und auch im Discord aktiv dabei. Es wird auch spürbar weiterentwickelt, von einem neuen Element und Biom (wasser), neue monster und items usw. Ich habe jetzt einige stunden gespielt und hab noch einiges vor mir. Das Spiel ist geschmackssache, aber wer die Geduld hat kann hier einige Spielstunden auf den Zähler knallen.
