100% CPU usage on all cores for mediocre graphics and turn-based gameplay — why? Very unresponsive UI, freeze-lags for over a second before anything happens when you're doing inventory stuff. Movement on the map goes slightly faster. The "Upgrade" system is totally meaningless. You get a +1 upgraded weapon, and the stats are not noticeably different. Often a +1 item gives 1% to some stat. What's the point? And then you just go to the next zone and find a next-tier item which completely surpasses the previous zone's fully upgraded version, from an enemy that's not much stronger. Upgrading wastes time and suggests a wrong sense of expectation or importance to the player. The same with crafting. Engaging with enemies only serves to clog your inventory, and inventory management is super freeze-laggy (on the scale of 2-5 seconds). I thought the game had potential from the way it was framed, but it's a soulless grinding sandbox with freeze-lags and bad overal mechanics, and in-game purchases. I don't see how the author has any aspirations to do substantially better, because to me it looks like he didn't even go 5% of the way of what a good game would be. The author literally added in-game purchases before making the game remotely fun for longer than it takes to realise the extent of the game mechanics. Why add elemental damage and resistances when you start with only armor, anyway? As I understood, you don't even reduce enemy damage at all with the armor stat, because they all deal elemental damage. And even if you get elemental resistances, it's on the scale of 10-20%, that's nothing. Single-handed weapons are completely underpowered when same-tier two-handed weapons easily one-hit enemies. You basically just need attack speed to attack first, evasion and health points instead of armor (much more reliable stat, anyway), and a two-handed weapon to one-hit the enemy. In later stages, you two-hit the enemy. Wow. As a programmer, I cannot understand what you would possibly have to do to to fully use up 8 CPU cores and over half a GiB of RAM just to have a freeze-lagging turn-based 2D game, even if this was just a prototype. This game should be single-core, in the 10% usage rates at its peak. And the game installation on disk is less than half the RAM usage of the game. Or do you pay for your game by mining crypto on the CPU?

Honestly, it's doing the same thing over and over and over. It isn't hard, so you never really lose anyone. The dungeons are a bit annoying. Some are marked "Soloable". Yet, doesn't allow you to start without at least a party of 2.... Some require a party of 3 to start. The max group size is set to 2...... I can't even start most of the dungeons because of this. I don't know why I am playing this, probably because the music is nice while I'm mostly playing another game on the side.
Fun concept but the game is dead. I never found anyone playing and some dungeons require more than one person to attempt.

Can't run dungeons because you need to invite players. Can't run "soloable" dungeons because you need 3 party members, but you're limited to only inviting in two out of 4 of your party members. What's even the point? I'm low level and new as can be, but come on lol, this isn't my first mmo game. The player count seems abysmal as I've never seen a single person talk in the time i've played the game, top it off that they delete player accounts after 1 week for whatever reason. What if someone has nostalgia? Too bad, get nuked. Maybe paying for premium prevents that but idk. I wanted to enjoy it, but it's just tedium incarnate. You essentially hobble across tiles and beat things up with your party or main character until you enter new areas and farm gear again and again but get gatekept at dungeons because of the listed reasons above. You're not even allowed to try and fail, let alone succeed as a solo player in a dead/dying game.
Dead game, unfortunately. Probably had promise, but this "MMO" consistently have less than 3 players for the past year or so. I don't foresee the developer continuing on this endeavour, which is a shame.
When playing the game, it opens multiple tab windows and wont close them when exiting. This is a weird bug and very suspicious.
