It looks ok and plays OK but the developers just kinda left us to it to put up with bugs and ignore questions. Only get this on a big sale and be warned, it'll still be a let down. You can't sell a game and then turn your back on the people who give you money. Aerosoft, hold your head in shame.
I experienced very glitchy graphics, a truly horrible frame rate, and zero audio (complete silence). There are no audio settings other than volume, and adjusting the video settings had minimal effect. I was unable to bind my Thrustmaster rudder pedals although my joystick worked fine. Scenery strobed in and out even when stationary. Frame rate would drop too low to control the aircraft even at low resolutions with the texture quality turned down (on a new top-of-the-line Dell computer). The last activity in the company's support forum is more than two years old.
Recommend this but from a highly specific perspective and with caveats. The perspective was looking for a small (both download size and disk needed) glider simulator that allows aero-towing, runs on the Steamdeck and has aircraft flown in real life. This meets those aims. The caveats are that while the Blanik is a good model and the Wilga seems okay, the other aircraft modelled are less satisfying; and the map, while having a gliding club with a grass strip and an airfield with a paved runway, is limited in size. Overall a 6.5 out of 10.
The game was promising at the beginning despite the low number of aircraft. I think the best thing about the game is the texture quality. However, physics of the game is not good. For instance, during the tow takeoff with a glider, when you go below the tug plane, there should be severe turbulence that even makes climbing up the tug plane harder. Thermals are not that easy in the real life. Also, Wilga should have a mirror to watch glider during the tow. There are several unrealistic things about the game.

I love ASK-21. Feeling and sound is real. Good job!
Options UI seems unconnected to actual game. You can map whatever device you want but it won't work.
Not worth even for 15 Eur. Some features like replay or online mode do not work. Flat scenary, and no challenge at all. First and last product I buy from Aerosoft.
Deze game werkt voor geen meter met een moderne PC en met een goede W11 controller.
Lots of potential. I like what I am seeing.
