Простенький платформер который проходиться за 20 мин,управляем чуваком в шляпе,бежим слева направо,убиваем гангстеров. Больше сказать нечего.

A decent distraction but flawed. --- [b]Pros[/b] --- - Cheap (I paid 54 cents USD) - Good music - Decent retro visual aesthetic --- [b]Cons[/b] --- - "Game" achievement currently bugged (should receive for launching the game) - Grenades are laughably useless - The Steam overlay seems to be disabled in this game. If not [u]screenshots don't work at least.[/u] - Weapon variety usefulness is quite low (I'd stick with the shotgun the whole time) This game is also short (I beat it in 22 minutes). You could call that a flaw or a pro. I'm leaning toward pro in this case. I don't regret this purchase or time spent playing. I can't recommend this to others in it's current state.

Представь себе. Альтернативное время. На руке лежит широкоэкранный GameBoy (не Color), дисплей 5-6 дюймов. Вот и играешь в Workhard. По продолжительности, как демка, играя во время выставки E3 А спуститься на реальность, на ПК, к сожалению, корявый код игры. Вылетает со крашем, сужается весь уровень на один экран монитора. А просто играть, всё хорошо, поэтому не ставлю краснуху. Странно разве что, не ловится скриншоты... при работающем оверлее.

Workhard is a very badly made 2D retro pixel side scrolling shooter from the shovelware pushers at Red Twice Potato. It's got a lazy pixel monochrome theme and you shoot "rap gangsters" and whatever... oh it's just so awful, badly made, bad premise, not fun... the list goes on. Even if this had a great premise for a game... it would still suck. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is often used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. That's right, only 3. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. Workhard is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

this "game" is 7min(!!!) "long".... so even in sale for 40ct totally not worth it !!! Although quite "fun" for that short period... BUT the reason for refund is that 1 achievement is broken! (launche the game) since 2 years this topic is on diskussions... no help / answer from the "dev" .... so game is clearly abandoned! so 7 min game with broken achievements... avoid plz !
