Auto-shoot save the day (if you use a XBOX 360 Controller)
Gameplay : Classic shooter (but more you play more it get good) having to reload makes you play less rushing mode and more strategy by using the environment to get cover, really like this type of gameplay. Graphics : Really good Pixel Art (everything can be destroyed/burned depending on what weapon you use). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1622304624 Customization : Yes, lots of new weapons and life upgrades, i think the tech three should be smaller and in a single screen but it's not bad like it is. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1622306586 Ultra wide support : No (sadly) but like the dev. explain to me it's not possible due to pixel-perfect. Controls : M/K and gamepad, hard to play with gamepad but there is an option to enable the auto-shoot on options (damn you XBOX gamepad trigger's), hope to see an option to be able to play with both same time (gamepad for movement and mouse for shooting). Recommended price : 9.99€ (14.99€ is a good price too but if like me you already own most Steam shooter's 9.99€ is better (12/01/19, Historical Low 9,74€ on Humble Bundle)). Devs. activity : Yes they are on forum and on reviews (thanks to this i changed my review from negative to positive and now i can finally enjoy playing).
Conclusion
Well thanks to the dev. presence on my review, i changed my opinion on this game and i can now recommend this game to shooters fans. Good games need good devs. who care enough to always be there to defend when something is wrong.
A MUST HAVE for all the Nuclear Throne/Binding of Isaac fans out there. Lots of different weapons, scenarios, objectives, characters with different skills (suits), all randomly generated to make each run completely different. The Good: + Smooth gameplay and controls, with mouse and keyboard at least. Has gamepad support but didn't test it. + Very short but fast rounds. When you die, start again where you were 2 minutes ago, roll a different weapon and try again. + Destroy everything in the scenario. Houses, trees, walls, boxes, barrels... well, not the red barrels, those explode. + Epic soundtrack that fits perfectly. + The touch of humour in the story, load screens and weapon names. The average: - The same round can be too easy or too difficult depending on the weapon rolled.
One of the hardest games I've ever played but with an addictive potential. The chance for getting the right weapon for each stage is well balanced but it could happen that you have to try more than once which in my opinion is an appealing factor. The survival mode is also very difficult and I'm still trying to get into the top 10. Bug fixes and stuff are permanently done which is a big plus for this game. Definitely a recommendation for players who like a goog challenge ;)
From first impression, it seems this is one of those games that doesn't give P2 progression. They are just P1s pet. That's no fun for P2 =/
This game has potential, but it's wasted. Not worth $15. I got it for free, though, so... yeah. On the up side, the game looks great. It's animated well, it has a great aesthetic, and it has a simplicity and charm that just wows me. You can break a lot of the stuff in each level, too, so plus one for interactivity! Unfortunately, the negatives keep stacking. The weapons are completely random. There's no real character progression unless you stick to the main weapons of the game and just upgrade your jetpack and other passive stats, which takes a considerable amount of time and doesn't really help as much as you'd like. The upgrade tree is very unsatisfying and feels unnecessary. I would probably have more fun just randomly getting the weapons without working to unlock them in a skill tree style menu first. This would have allowed me to focus more on beating the first area rather than looking at menus over and over. Each campaign area has a ton of rounds and a boss fight. Not much variety in enemies makes this very dull after a half hour or so. While the boss fights are kind of interesting, I would have liked the archers to be way more aggressive. Archers basically take forever to shoot and don't even try to shoot if you get near them. Back to the levels, they're all more or less just waves of enemies and random weapon drops. The goals rarely change things up enough to make things interesting, and this becomes frustrating when you lose, because you have to start over from the beginning of that area if you lose. That means playing the same area over and over and over again. It gets repetitive and feels like it could be more forgiving. That said, maybe I could have got further if I wasn't getting random weapons all the time that would work against me by either preventing me from hitting anything or hitting myself with fire and explosions. Overall, the game is a solid casual title with a decent learning curve, but it does nothing to try to keep you interested after the first few levels. The RNG style gameplay could be designed to be a little more streamlined and less of a hassle to deal with, but there is some fun to be had here. There are a lot of elements of this game which I thoroughly enjoyed at the start. It's a shame the game kind of lost me after such a short period of time. I would recommend it at a deep discount as a play-it-and-forget-it title but not at the price they're asking for it.
WHAT A DELIGHT!! this game is brilliant. Not only it's adicting but the RPG component and the feeling of improvement makes me avoid the burnout after a couple of lost rounds. Stunning both visually and in the OST department. Works great with controller and keyboard+mouse, I prefer the latter.
10/10
lovely crafted game. Super easy to get into, but difficult enough so it's still fun. Also am really happy about the co-op feature. Even though it is asymetrical co-op, I'm really glad that the developers implemented this feature! If the trailer looks interesting to you and you are looking for a good time, give this game a chance.

This game gives me wood. It is a must own for bullet hell and action roguelike lovers.
It is a genuinely good game but make sure to copy your save file. When I was on the final world the game shut off and when it was turned back on it was in a foreign language with a 0% save file
