Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I first tried Satazius and Zangeki Warp and within the first couple of levels in those games I ran into some trial & error or gotcha! style traps. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Wolflame, while less colourful and showy than say, Satazius at least wasn't doing this to me. I was having quite a bit of fun and it was bringing games like Raiden and Tyrian to mind. I actually thought this was going to be a positive rec when I was more than halfway through the game. At some point though, I encountered a bullet pattern that slowly closed around me, leaving me with no way out. I had a bit more patience for the Gotcha! this time, as I was a number of levels deep and more invested in the experience by the time this happened. I pushed on, and then in a later level it happened again. This time I was on the left side of the screen, and enemies came in from that direction right on top of me, instantly killing me before I could react. The issue is there is no warning or telegraph. I was still hanging in there with Wolflame, until stage 7 or 8, when the game started throwing a lot more tanks at me. Tanks suck. These enemies fire projectiles VERY fast. They're like snipers that are targetting you for a while and then let off a fast shot, so fast that you can barely dodge out of the way. There had been a few of these earlier in the game, but now I was having to deal with hordes of them. You're kind of forced to take them out or hide out of range of them. But it feels like a real crap shoot trying to deal with them and not in a way I find fun. Now just because I hate the tanks (and some of the other negative rec players hate the tanks) doesn't mean you won't enjoy trying to deal with them, but I digress. The music is.. harmless. Lively vibes in the background but nothing memorable or exciting going on with it. I do feel that with a little more polish, these games could be more accessible and less frustrating than they are currently.
Great shmup, what else to say?
I've recently played though about a half-dozen games by developer Astro Port. This is the only one I found really enjoyable. There were a couple that were okay to meh (Armed Seven, Supercharged Robot Vulkaiser), but most SUCKED (Satazius, Steel Strider, Gigantic Army). So if you've tried those games and avoid their games (wise), you may want to at least give this shooter a shot. It's like a poor man's Twin Cobra.
Makes the mistake of forcing you to hold down the attack button when there is never any reason not to be shooting, but I fixed it with a custom steam controller config that makes the Y button a toggle that spams the A button.
KAMGUSTA'S MINI REVIEW A classic vertical scrolling shoot 'em 'up. Maximum resolution is 1024x768, so do not expect much from graphics. As other reviews have stated, tanks shoot high-speed bullets that in late stages (8 onwards) are difficult to evade. Lowering the difficulty to "easy" does not help much. Your ship has 3 different types of weapons that can be picked up - pretty standard. The game is not bad, it's just mediocre. Best played with joypad Recommended buy price: 3$ Score: 6/10
Didnt realize the chinese crapware pandemic had reached steam....deleted from account.
Fantastic old school shooter. The tone of the game is totally bad a$$. Love the music and sound FX.
