Reviews
While the controls are decent, the game is just too unpolished and janky to continue playing. Also, it doesn't work on the steam deck so I am going to have to refund.
Very addictive castlevania like with a die and retry game play that will challenge your skill and ability to overcome a tricky game design.
Wolf Knight Memoir is a very nice Metroidvania. I really liked the graphic style which, in my opinion, is quite unique. The game is a bit hard and frustrating sometimes but quite rewarding in the end. The music also is great.
Wolf Knight memoir do give the feeling of a homebrew’s game but in a good way. The game is simple but well designed and the story makes the player willing to continue to explore the map. I found the platforming difficult on some levels so some people will like the challenged others might think it is frustrating. Worth the price !
Wolf Knight Memoir is a story-driven Metroidvania with a hand-drawn pixel art style. The game's narrative follows a hero who awakens as a werewolf with no memory, with the story unfolding over several chapters. The gameplay presents a significant challenge. It leans heavily into a "die and retry" design, so players should expect to test their skills frequently. As you progress, you unlock new abilities like a double jump and a dash, which are essential for navigating the interconnected world and accessing previously blocked areas. The game's music and art style are key features that help set the atmosphere. If you appreciate challenging platforming and a strong visual style, Wolf Knight Memoir could be a good fit.
Good retro graphics, catchy musics, fluid game mechanics, interesting story. Very honest handcrafted game, I recommend.
It's a short but intense indie retro metroidvania games with strong emphasize on platforming and story seems appealing to you then this game is for you. I definetly enjoyed it.
A good platfrom indy game with challenging difficulty if you like it. Also the music is really nice and well designed.
