Fun game, wish it had multiplayer option.
I enjoyed this game quite a lot for what I paid for it, but in its current state it's both unfinished and abandoned. I suppose it will remain a monument to what might have been, which is a shame because there was a ton of potential that won't be realized now.
Once you change the portraits and icons, this is a fun little fantasy based strategic game. There seem to be a lot of little almost hidden game systems in it.
im sure its fun, its just to much clicky for my taste...
This game is awesome! I know I only have 5 hours but I have engaged with most of the systems and there is one obvious thing. the dev is someone (its a single dev btw) that played these types of games and made something unique and added mechanics that most of us wish were in other games. One of the biggest ones is having unique characters, or followers, who you can appoint to various jobs. There is a dungeon exploration mechanic which has you creating a party out of your followers and based on their skills and stuff they explore, fight and then either retreat, get wounded, die, or win and get loot. You can send your followers as emisaries, general of your armies, scouts, advisor, apprentice, and so much more. You also have workers that you use to build stuff or work at your capital to produce different resrouces, there is a full econ system based on supply and demand, tons of resources. Tons of spells and you research lore, spells and other stuff but not in the traditional sense. Look, get this game if any of that interests you. I want this guy to make a part 2! you will too once you play. I have been playing TBS for 20 years and this might be the most unique game ive played.
Despite some balancing issues where the maintenance costs of units just scale to much too wide a range, I've been enjoying this game a lot. It has a rather steep learning curve, some balance issues, and the graphics are definitely....old school, but the UI is functional and well done, the overall game mechanics work well, and it captures that elusive "just one more turn" fun factor that seems so absent today in most 4x games. This game is well worth taking the time to learn, Assuming that you enjoy the genre itself, you'll probably enjoy this game as it doesn't compromise or dumb down the game play to appeal to those who want simple and light games. This one takes thought and effort to get good at.
Fun game, made by single developer (currentle in iatus), still in development. Is like Wizard Warfare, Conquest of Elysium. Needs polishing
