Если разобраться, что к чему и погрузиться, то неплохо. Боевку бы от доминионс и побольше всплывающих подсказок. Upd разобрался с движком боя, он таки лучше доминионс.
This is one of those unique strategy titles that take a little patience to learn but pays off when you do. It reminds me of old Romance of the Three Kingdom games where you have leaders that can be assigned to tasks, and there are many possible tasks. I like that leaders can form a party to explore dungeons to get loot, then return to the more mundane tasks of running an empire. I can recommend this to people who like to explore the mechanics of 4x games (and this one feels like it has a lot to explore) and are not put off by poorer graphics or less than perfect UI. Well done Dev.
There are a lot of positives here. The solo dev is a good communicator who has clearly poured a lot of love and work into this title. The random world generation is great. You can play as slow or as fast as you like, which is good for me as I like to take my time. Most players will admit that it's a little difficult to comprehend when you take that first step, but watching 'Dastactic' play some on youtube really helped with the basics, and in the steam discussions there are guides.
Nothing in this game could be described as "exciting". It's like picking a lock. Kind of interesting, neat to see all the details, but in the end pretty grindy and frustrating. Many things are not explained. Combat is boring. No spell effects, no terrain at all. The grid battlefield should really be a hex one. The icons for many things are all very similar and reused often, so things get confusing. I really haven't found much payoff for all the effort I've put into this game. Sadly, there are better things I can do with my time.
Interesting concept, but balance needs some work. On default settings you get attacked by endless waves of wandering monster armies with high level units that you have no hope of beating. You literally cannot build a single hex.
A really incredible game for a solo dev to accomplish the UI is not intuitive, and a lot feels under/un-explained, but if you're willing to push through that, its a real gem
Sadly this game has been abandoned. Sad as it just needs a bit of polish and it would of been lovely. Not worth $15 maybe $5 on sale? Yeah pretty decent little game once you get into it. lots to do and going on. minor gripe with the aging system/fatigue stopping tasks from being completed could you implement an option to continue task once rested to reduce micromanagement? I keep missing the fact the task was never done at some times 20-30 turns later and it drives me nuts.
I hope the dev finds the motivation to finish this game, it's great but so much of it's depth is almost entirely opaque.
I like it.
An amazing game! Had it since the very beginning. Incredibly depth of game play and total replayabilty! If you love complex deep Kingdom 4X. This is your game!!!
