Literally one of the best games you will ever find. Buy it, it's awesome. I just wish it was 4 player. I accidentally had the review for the sequel here. It has been removed from here and put over there. Thank you folks for letting me know I had the wrong game. Sorry.

[h1] 콤보와 스피드로 완성하는 마법 액션 로그라이크 [/h1] Wizard of Legend를 직접 해보면, 이 게임은 단순히 마법을 쓰는 액션 RPG가 아니라 빠른 템포의 전투와 끝없는 빌드 실험이 매력인 로그라이크라는 걸 느끼게 된다. 플레이어는 젊은 마법사가 되어 무작위로 구성된 던전을 탐험하며, 다양한 마법 아케이나(Arcana)를 조합해 점점 강해지고 보스를 쓰러뜨려야 한다. 전투의 핵심은 스피드와 콤보다. 공격, 회피, 특수기를 빠르게 연계하면서 적을 몰아붙이는 전투는 굉장히 속도감 있다. 불, 번개, 바람, 물, 땅 등 다양한 속성 마법을 자유롭게 섞어 쓸 수 있어, 매번 다른 조합이 가능하다. 예를 들어, 얼음으로 적을 묶고 불로 큰 피해를 주거나, 바람으로 적을 모아놓고 번개로 마무리하는 식의 콤보는 플레이어의 창의력에 달려 있다. 무작위성 덕분에 매 판이 다르게 흘러간다. 어떤 아케이나와 유물을 얻느냐에 따라 플레이 스타일이 완전히 달라지고, 운이 나쁘면 힘든 조합이 되기도 하지만, 좋은 아이템과 스킬을 조합했을 때는 폭발적인 화력을 뽐낼 수 있다. 이 과정에서 “이번에는 어떤 빌드가 나올까?” 하는 기대감이 생겨 반복 플레이가 자연스럽게 이어진다. 보스전 역시 강렬하다. 속성마다 전용 보스가 있는데, 패턴을 익히고 회피 타이밍을 잡으면서 싸워야 한다. 전투는 짧고 강렬하며, 한 번의 실수가 치명적인 결과를 가져오기 때문에 긴장감이 크다. 죽으면 처음부터 다시 시작해야 하지만, 플레이어의 실력과 경험이 쌓이면서 점점 더 멀리 나아가는 재미가 있다. 아쉬운 점이라면, 반복적인 구조 때문에 오래 할수록 다소 루틴화될 수 있다는 점, 그리고 난이도가 높은 편이라 처음 접하는 사람은 좌절하기 쉽다는 것이다. 그래픽 역시 단순한 픽셀 스타일이라 호불호가 갈릴 수 있다. 하지만 액션과 마법 이펙트의 연출은 경쾌해 전투의 손맛을 살려준다. 결국 Wizard of Legend는 “마법사로서의 빠른 액션 판타지”를 완벽하게 구현한 게임이다. 화려한 마법 콤보, 무궁무진한 빌드 조합, 긴장감 넘치는 로그라이크 진행 방식이 어우러져, 매번 새로운 도전을 즐기게 만든다. 스피디한 전투와 마법사의 로망을 느끼고 싶다면 꼭 해볼 만한 작품이다.
