Won this game in a giveaway and I am addicted. I have to limit my playtime to short bursts or I will literally lose myself in the game for a whole day. It's still early access so it has some quirks, but it already has so much content. I can't wait to learn more about the lore of this world.
The game still has a lot of work cut out for it, but I like the shape it already has. The witchy aspect speaks to me, and I love collecting the little Familiars. Each of them is distinctive and I love that they come in different types as well, with somewhat of a "shiny" hunting aspect to it (but it's not just cosmetic differences, it's different stats too). The world still feels a bit too empty, and struggles with some clunky mechanics (lacking tutorials, bad targetting (both in fighting and in jumping puzzles) and weird menu + keybinding choices). However, there are hidden treasures, puzzles and a lot of pretty scenes. I think this'll make an amazing game when it's further polished. I am already enjoying it a lot.

witchspire's ability to differentiate and stand out from the super stale open world survival craft genre rests solely on the devs' willingness to take risks from here on out, and to not be afraid and go all-in on the witch and magic angle, and what that can mean for survival, building, and combat. the building blocks (heh) are all there now, though. in its current state, smooth movement and traversal, very basic but fluid and satisfying combat, and a better-than-average soundtrack will put you up for a good time. also this is a minor detail, but i was also personally impressed by the fact that its far-out draw distance (well, aside from the level of detail itself that drops sharply with distance) means you'll finally see your house from...well, anywhere, probably space, even. nearly all games of this kind will not render your house or straight up don't have lod meshes for it to render once you're far enough out...eww. fingers crossed they don't abandon this one.
good and cute. needs work, its a bit bland atm. but i can see it being a great game
kind of Pokemon meets Palword meets Enshrouded... a lot of fun.
It's an interesting game. - I like it, there are some issues, but it's early access and being worked on consistently.
tres bon jeu
