About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

Ведьм у нас сжигают! Стильный шутер - рогалик, что ещё нужно?
Witchfire is genuinely fun for a while. The gunplay feels snappy, the witch-hunting vibe and art style are cool, and the combat has some real weight to it. I had a good time blasting through the early game. That said, the endless grinding eventually kills the momentum. You spend more and more time farming the same areas for materials and upgrades, and it starts feeling like a chore instead of something exciting. The loop just doesn't have enough variety or meaningful progression to keep it fresh. What really stands out is how it lacks that special "FromSoftware magic." In a Souls game, you can be 2 seconds away from rage-quitting and breaking your controller, but when you finally beat that brutal boss it feels incredible. Witchfire never quite delivers that same hard-earned satisfaction. The difficulty is there, but the payoff just isn't as rewarding. Recommended with the caveat that you'll probably enjoy it, but will sink hundreds of hours into it. Solid game, but it runs out of steam (no pun intended) once the grind takes over.
底子不错,音效美术都不赖,地图设计还可以再提提,希望正式版能有类似遗迹2的多人联机和箱庭探索

viciante, sensacional, bom demais pra dar uns tiros e passar ou descontar a raiva
Witchfire is legitimately one of the best games you can buy on Steam. It is easily the prettiest game I have ever played and also one of the most fun games I have played this year. If you liked Destiny, buy Witchfire. If you like the Soulsborne series, buy Witchfire. If you like Classical Gothic books, buy Witchfire. If you just like really good games that wont bankrupt you, buy Witchfire. On sale this is a steal, and it is still absolutely worth the full asking price. If you're still unsure, go and watch a review - a guy called WarmSnow made a fantastic video on it which is how I discovered this gem.
It´s just like dark souls.
Completed all the areas up to "end" of the EA 0.9 update. clocking just under 30 hours with some minor exploring and item collection still left. It's a pretty solid Doom-souls like game. The mechanics are fun and varied between gun play and spell casting, with the roguelike skill system keeping each run a little bit unique. The difficulty is not as bad as some people are making it out to be, so long as you approach encounters intelligently and take the time to understand them. It also help to make sure you are properly leveled before bumping up each difficulty modifier. It is a souls like game, so going in with the right mindset also helps. Dying isn't a failure, it is part of learning. Much of the mechanics, the game leaves to you to work out on your own (again souls like), but offers enough guidance to get you going. Overall I really enjoyed it. The game is quick to get started and play with minimal filler and is highly replayable. I look forward to the final build
(daje to przeogromne pole do popisu).
Its a FPSRPGDUNGEONCRAWLINGEXTRACTIONFANTASYSOULSLIKEROUGUELIKEEXPOLSION! kind of game. Looks good too.
