About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

So fun
Oh yeah.. This is good, beautiful scenery as well. I'm enjoying it.
Surprisingly good game! There's a certain mysterious quality to this game, the kind that makes you realize you dont know anything yet.. The game also makes you feel like you are being constantly watched because the world reacts to what you are doing at any time. The way the weapon leveling system reflects the general extraction-like gameplay is super satisfying. You kind of create mini-quests for yourself to progress. Doing these organically unlock new abilities and locations without forcing you to look at a boring questlog. There a lot of weapons and spells as well, so a lot of combo's to discover.
Good gunplay, lots of things to collect and unlock. FPS rogue-like extraction.
I enjoy this game a lot, game play is very satisfying, guns and spells are all different and provide a lot of variation in your build between 2 weapon slots, 1 light spell, and 1 heavy spell. None of the different fight mechanics are too tedious or unbalanced. But I have had an issue with this game crashing since I bought it, which was reasonably close to it's initial release. On any given day that I play, whether it's 1,2,3 encounters, doesn't matter, it is more likely than not going to crash. It won't be in the lobby or in the beginning of a run, chances are it'll be towards the end, after you mostly cleared the place. None of the progress is kept, doesn't matter if you've fully upgraded the weapon/spell/trinket/filled the latent orb. Progress is wiped away from that hour or so and you won't want to play at all for the next day/days. Rather disappointing that it's still a consistent issue, and performance/optimization in general have not been any issue. Aside from the crashes the game runs like a top. Because of the consistent updates and feedback from the devs I can say I still recommend the game. But if that doesn't go away, it's hard to keep wanting to play a game when you repeatedly have to redo objectives and upgrades
堆怪严重,弹药少血瓶少,一个图七组怪能清三组就烧高香了,还时不时有腐化入侵,不会做游戏可以不做
