(97th Review!) Windswept is amazing tribute to Donkey Kong Country series! It's very hard, but fair and overall very rewarding to master these fun hard stages! Combined with crispy graphics and wonderful music and cute story to follow all makes a great complete package of a video game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really fun game, extremely charming and cute design, very fun and challenging levels with increasing platforming and puzzle difficulty that makes you push your brain i do have a complaint about the precision of the puzzles in lategame levels since the responsiveness can be inconsistent sometimes, also you are forced to use tagteam mode at certain points if you are playing co-op (not an issue if you are playing solo), and if you are playing through steam remote play you have to do some tweaks since the other party will be able to control your entire computer's shortcuts (in my case, switching to a 2nd monitor and opening the application launcher menu), due to controller buttons being mapped to keyboard buttons overall amazing game, deserves more attention

I'm only on the second world but this is honestly one of the most creative and fun platformers I've played. It takes everything that was good about the 2d platformers that came before and mixes it all together with an incredibly charming world and really creative level design. And the fact it has both incredibly challenging optional segments combined with the easier normal stages... It might not be my favorite 2d platformer (yet), but it really feels like one of the most solid, polished 2d platformers I've ever played.

十分推荐。两个角色的操控手感都非常丝滑，两个角色的结合使用更是让角色性能非常超模。丝滑的手感让跑图也变成一种享受。刚开始也许看起来两个角色的移动大同小异，但是随着深入游玩，自己发现两个角色的能力结合使用的各种场景，才真正让这个游戏变得妙趣横生。不认同一些说游戏引导不好，通关全靠猜的说法。其实角色的各个能力都通过分散在各个关卡的金币提示玩家使用，游戏的各种隐藏也通常有金币提示。相信如果通过自己的仔细观察，第一次学到全新的移动方式，或者发现隐藏的通关空间，一定会非常有成就感。游戏的画风也非常对我胃口，各种宠物也可爱至极，怪物和伙伴都细节满满。总的来说这个游戏是一款异常优秀的平台跳跃游戏。 一个很难发现的彩蛋（也许）：游戏存档界面一直往右走可以玩到两个新模式。
Aw yis, a spiritual successor to the Donkey Kong Country line of games, I love playing those. The movement, and the techniques that enable it, is smooth and great, the collectibles are hidden in a variety of interesting ways that require me to actually pay attention, and the hint system is built in a way to really help. Looking forward to getting through this!
