About
Don't be fooled by its cute charm! The journey home won't be an easy one!
Windswept is a love letter to a period of gaming where collectathon platformers reigned supreme, trying again was the norm, and players only had a game manual to guide them.
There are over 40 stages to explore, each with their own set of hidden collectibles, bonus challenges and quirky obstacles to overcome... or fall victim to!
You'll learn every ability in the first stage of the game, after that you're on your own!
Changing your leader gives you an entirely new set of actions to use and master - remember to take your time and things will click eventually...
Making your way home will be tough, and you'll need to keep trying until you get the hang of things - but for those who find it a walk in the park, there's plenty of hidden challenges along the way to test you!
There's no wrong way to play Windswept.
🦆 Marbles and 🐢 Checkers each have unique abilities, but that won't always be enough to overcome specialised challenges... Mix 'n' match different techniques to play your own way.
You may surprise yourself with what you're capable of!
The journey home is a long one - live for the moments as they happen.
After that, they're only a memory!
How far will you go?
Where will your journey end?
Let's get swept away - together!

W dev. Thanks for the game though.
Dev did nothing wrong LMAO, no way people are trying to reviewbomb it. I need to go back to it, I took a break because the minecart equivalent controls like kartos in the original yooka-laylee, why on earth would you rip off kartos.
Let me say this first. This game is really hard. REALLY REALLY hard. Main game is like DKC2 levels of hard. Special levels and post game? Yeah that's like x10 harder. This game will punish you in so many ways. You have to be patient. You WILL die A LOT. It can have some VERY frustrating levels/sections and mechanics. It can also have some amazing level designs which make you forget about the frustrating parts for a while until the next bs level. If you're just doing the base game without worrying about collecting everything then yes I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed DKC2. If you want to 100% this? Then don't bother unless you REALLY love difficult platformers. Other than that, it has a nice art style and a good enough soundtrack.
Love me some DKC2/3 type platforming, and this game scratches that itch.
проект с очень крутым визуальным стилем, годной музычкой и очень приятным управлением на поверку оказывается кривейшим нафталином времен когда сигеру миямото впервые попробовал студенческий коктейль водка + пиво.
Very good 90s style platformer similar to the SNES era Donkey Kong Country games, with great music, tight controls and level design that takes inspiration from modern indies and rom hacks instead of merely aping the classics. High difficulty, but built-in tools to make the game easier for you if you wish. Highly recommended for fans of this style of difficult platformer. Just as a warning: the special levels and postgame get very hard with the hardest parts of the postgame really feeling like a rom hack. I did not finish the last couple of levels of the postgame, but I loved my journey to that point. (the main game can be hard but is humane even without the accessibility tools.)
旧游补评 113 游玩时期:2026 可玩性很高,就是太难了,有相当多的操作技巧需要熟练掌握才能做全收集,本手残因此浅尝辄止了,可能比较适合横板平台跳跃高手。
originally had a positive review on this game because in all seriousness it's very fun but the developer acts like a degenerate and responded to someone's review with "L take, thanks for the money though" while i don't think review bombing the game over this is the right thing to do (referring to all the 0.1 hour playtime reviews) i'm still not going to give this game support when the dev acts like such a child.
Incredibly fun and charming little platformer, very reminiscent of Donkey Kong. However, I don't actually have any nostalgia for that era of gaming, so that shows that this holds up as a strong and well made (and not to mention endearing) game
One of the best platformer game I've ever played, as someone who finished Celeste. The game has very interesting core mechanics and some additional too ! The level design is very well done because it requires to know a lot about the core mechanics and maintained a certain difficulty even at the end. There is even harder levels, some with different gameplay to challenge hardcore players. I also found the overall design very cute, and the sound design very good ! I also liked the plot, it all cute all along the game. Highly recommend !
