About
Windrose is a survival adventure set in an alternative Age of Piracy. It features the classic “build, craft, survive” formula along with intense combat and engaging exploration on land and sea.
Progress through vast procedurally generated biomes filled with hidden mysteries, hand-crafted dungeons and quests. Gather your crew and captain your ship through brutal naval combat with boarding actions and seamless transitions between ship and shore.
Defeat challenging bosses on your swashbuckling adventure driven by real-world characters and supernatural forces alike.
Every legend begins with a reckless crossing.
You are a captain who dares to challenge Blackbeard. What begins as a grounded story of survival and revenge draws you into a growing conflict between empires, pirate clans, and mysterious dark powers looming on the horizon. Windrose is steeped in the allure of the Age of Piracy.
Answer the call of the seas and move seamlessly between ship and shore. Naval combat is shaped by your decisions, whether you’re trading cannon fire at range or closing in for fierce boarding actions. Equip and customize your ship to suit your playstyle, from nimble ketch to versatile brig and monstrous frigate. And when the cannons go silent, claim your spoils and share a sea shanty with your crew as you sail onward.
Establish a foothold in vibrant, diverse biomes, gather resources, and build to your own taste, from simple shelters to elaborate mansions and fully developed forts. Recruit NPCs and grow your settlement to speed up harvesting and production.
This world belongs to the brave and the curious, so venture into the uncharted lands. Over 100 hand-crafted dungeons and points of interest contain endless secrets and treasures, though such rewards rarely come without risk. Trade with different factions to gain the edge you’ll need.
Hack, slash, batter, and shoot your way forward! Master a wide arsenal of melee weapons and firearms. Parry and dodge enemy attacks, chain different strikes, and keep an eye out for new gear, including sabers, rapiers, halberds, greatswords, pistols, muskets, and more.
Shape your combat style through talents and flexible loadouts with unique armor sets. Use food and potions to gain powerful buffs. Test your skills against a wide range of enemies and challenging bosses, defeat them, and claim their treasures.
Windrose is fully playable solo offline or in co-op with friends, supporting up to 8 players, with both self-hosted and dedicated servers available. Procedural generation will make each journey stand out. Please note: due to performance, especially in the late game, we recommend to play in the party up to 4 players for the optimal experience.

Yet another pirate game filled with promise, yet with game-breaking bugs and endless irritations that make it just not worth the effort. You're constantly thinking that it's about to be really fun and satisfying, but then you realize that it's just not going to deliver. My following complaints are from multiplayer experience with my friend (and I could say much more).... 1) Resources are not shared. So, you'd better have "shared quests" turned on, or you'll be doing twice the grind to get twice the needed resources to advance, which means twice the time wasted (see points to come below). I hate games that give one great weapon (by luck) to one player but either nothing or a crap weapon to the other. In multiplayer, everything should be shared/doubled. 2) Combat SUCKS! This is one of those games that pretends like you have tremendous precision with attacking/parrying/dodging. It's not true, because this is also one of those games in which once you start an attack, ONLY your opponent can interrupt you (and deal you damage in the process). YOU don't get to start an attack, realize your opponent is about to swing, and then stop your attack to try to dodge or parry. You WILL complete your entirely, useless attack motion. And, worse, this is one of those games in which you are FORCED to lunge forward during melee attacks, which OFTEN lunges you past your opponent, who instantly wheels on you to hit you from behind, while, wait for it... YOU are trying to turn around and, again, attack, which lunges you forward right into your opponent's swing, and you couldn't interrupt to do anything different, because, did I mention? Combat SUCKS! I hate this whole approach to combat. 3) Fine, I could live with all of that, although it takes away a LOT of the fun, because there's this promise of sailing and building an empire, etc., etc., but "shared quests" are totally broken. And that's the final deal-breaker for me. ANY game that purports to be "multiplayer" and touts "shared quests" CANNOT desync quest progress. Period. Not once, not ever. Full stop. This game is fundamentally broken in that regard, and the moment we discovered that fact during our last quest, we were done with it. And it's not like it's trivial to "go back" and try to figure out where the desync happened to "fix it." It takes 20 minutes of REAL time to sail between two islands. Then you hack your way through annoying dodos, boars, etc. to get to an encampment, then get mobbed by more powerful enemies. You're 40 minutes to an hour to "deal with" one island. So, "going back" throws that all away, plus another 20 minutes to sail back across to the "starting island" for that quest, the, even if you could figure out to how to resync everything, you then get to rinse and repeat the other island. Nah, not fun. Not worth it. Yet another pirate game that just CANNOT deliver on its promises. And yet another "multiplayer" game that is broken in the most critical and fundamental aspect of what a "multiplayer" game is supposed to have right. Maybe someday this will be worth revisiting. But in its current condition, there's just too much wrong with it. The frustration and tedium isn't worth hoping for delivery on the other promises. More than 2,000,000 copies sold, and quest desync is still a LONG-standing and unfixed issue. Clearly the devs either can't or won't deal with it. So, this is a HARD NO until the devs show that they give a crap. Don't give 'em any more money for a fundamentally broken game.

Schon lange kein so ausgereiftes Early-Access Spiel gespielt. Alleine der Baumodus ist echt gut und macht nen Heidenspaß. Lediglich mehr Deko wäre super. :D
Right Now I would say it is not worth buying until they fix some of the crashes and bugs. Right now, crashing is very common when changing key bindings. I am not a fan of the dash being on the CTRL key, so I went to change that and I crashed when trying to apply the changes. This has happened numerous of times. Another issue is that sometimes perfectly timed blocks or dodges dont work. I would try to block or dodge and my character does nothing.
This is the best survival action game I have ever played. If you are a fan of Valheim, you will love this game. A wonderful combat system with different weapon and armor perks, a great attribute and "skill" point tree. Easy to understand and learn, but never dull. The building in this game is incredible and it rewards you for exploring. 115 hours in the game and I cannot get enough. Really looking forward to seeing what the future of this game brings!
I don't recommend this game. The combat is garbage, and the starter (tutorial) island is overrun with mobs that can one-shot you. A level 3/4 shield boar drops the same mats as a level 2 sow?!?! It was so frustrating running back to my tombstone over and over again, while still learning the mechanics of the game but spending a majority of my time running to get my stuff back.
Massa Top 100%!
Eh. The combat is ok i guess? I just felt like it was overall kind of a disjointed experience where the loops didnt seamlessly blend enough. Cool vibes but it also still felt strangely kind of empty and boring. Not a bad game by any means, just not worth a buy in a very saturated survival crafting genre.
неиграбельно в кооперативе
