YYYYEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSS MUSHROOM FOX IS BACK!
Love this game! Very light combat (it sounds like a football when you bonk it lol), if you can even call it that. You're a fox who runs really fast and basically flies in search of magical mushrooms and breaking down this sorceress' magical rock towers. I'm really bad at describing this game but it really is so fun. It is a pain to figure out how to get the essence from certain things (I'm looking at you birds), but have only had to look a couple of them up. Anyway - fun, turn your brain off kinda game. 10/10
Absolutely stunning visuals, interesting mechanics, and a beautiful story make this game a true standout. Once again, we get to accompany the whimsical fox and his human friend on another adventure. I have so many good memories playing the previous installments, and this one feels like the perfect conclusion, a real cherry on top. The game's massive and amazing world was a genuine pleasure to explore. Traversing its mysterious landscapes and discovering its many secrets was a rewarding experience. While it's true that a few more hints would have been helpful in certain situations, it’s refreshing to play a game that doesn't constantly hold your hand. In an era where so many games lead you along, this change is a welcome one. My only critique is that the movement and camera angles can be clunky at times. This is particularly problematic when swimming and downright infuriating in caves. The caves themselves are a nightmare to find and navigate. A minimap for the underground that appears when you descend would be incredibly helpful. While I did manage to complete the game without one, the hours spent flying around to find the right entrance and then stumbling half-blindly inside were the least enjoyable parts of the entire experience. Still, this is the best game I've played in years, thank you for creating this masterpiece.
A fun relaxing game. Great atmosphere.
Relaxing game with beautiful soundtrack.
i wuv it just like the other 2 games i played back then 100/10 such beauty they all are still one of my favorite cozy adventure games
MAKE STEAM CARDS, ALLOW ME TO SHOW MY 100% ACHIEVEMENT COMPLETION PUBLICLY >:O I definitely recommend playing the classic collection first, but you don't have to, I just think it adds to the backstory of how these two met. I grew up playing games I and II, so I knew I had to get this game. Taking my time, it took me 9 hours to complete my first save. The last 2 hours were gathering mushrooms mainly though because I did everything in a weird order. I love the soundtrack and ambiance and the graphics of the game. The only thing I'd adjust is the ability to have a separate control that controls the camera in a way where you don't have to aim the camera in the direction your facing. Like... A way that you can view Sly running from the side or in front. I think it'll allow for better screenshots, but also I just enjoy the animations. I also think adding a button to swim downward would be nice, I just had to slowly circle downward or run into walls to push me down. I also would like the option to walk, or run even slower. As mentioned earlier, I like watching animations, so it intrigues me to slowly walk across the landscape. Literally walking simulator lol. Otherwise, I think the game is worth it, especially if you played the last two games. Oh and I'd totally purchase a makeship plushie if you ever come out with them. Sly and a mushroom, or Sly, a mushroom, and William. Perhaps even adding the mud guys from the first edition and the fairy foxes from the second edition. You could make a whole collection of makeship plushies! (I'd buy them all lol) Just make sure they do them all justice if you do come out with a plushie collection. I've seen some ugly plushies of characters and I don't tend to purchase those even if it's something I'm invested in.
Very fun relaxing game about collecting mushrooms The fast travel could have been a bit better and finding the various items for the spells cal also be a bit tricky as they are not shown on the map Oh, the music is really good, like it really slaps 8,5/10
I love it so good i remeber william and sly when it was a flash game now this this takes the cakes 100/10 game play it if u like calming games
Good game! Very nostalgic if you played the original games as a kid like I did. The music is lovely and the overall atmosphere is just top notch. I spent a lot of time just running around the map without trying to accomplish anything in particular. I think the gameplay of the first 2 games translates well into 3D. If I had just one nitpick, it's that your character is so small and the world is so big that sometimes the scale gets a bit ridiculous. I literally lost sight of Sly a few times because he goes so FAST and is so tiny it's like trying to keep track of a mosquito buzzing around your head. But most of the time I think it works to give you a sense of being a small woodland creature exploring a vast picturesque landscape.
