Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

КАЙФ
It's basically space sea of thieves with a little bit of Arc Raiders mixed in. You jump in, find all the loot you can from various missions, and leave. Piloting various ships of your choosing. Honestly the worst part of this game is its lack of playerbase. But the devs appear to slowly taking that into account when updating this game.

Игра сделана качественно, есть полная поддержка русского языка, но есть одна беда, народу что то не понравилось и игроков крайне мало. Но разрабы не унывают и продолжают обновлять и допиливать игру, возможно когда-нибудь она снова оживет
Sea of Thieves in space?... sign me tf up! I played in the first and second beta they had, I had a lot of fun, especially with friends. However with how the game's current state with the very little people playing and the price tag... its not looking good. You're either stomping new players that have no idea how to move or you're getting obliterated by veterans who spend WAY too much time playing to stay in meta (which is normal since it's a game and that's the dynamic games have now a days, so that's something). The game should've been early access instead of a straight release because imo there were things that needed to be worked on and with the community working alongside, it could've turned out good, if not great. The price is also too expensive, personally I wouldn't pay the price it was set at... and multiple people thought the same considering how small the numbers were before the discounts and the events were applied. Me and my friends think about game a lot and kept going back to check if the player numbers have changed, I really hope the game can do well because in concept, it's really good. I think it should've been free to play with the option for microtransactions because most games like this with pvp shooters are free; even then a cheaper price could've been better too because why should people pay a couple meals worth of cash for a game with less than 100 players? if not less? Kind of a shame really.

Great game, wish they made it free so people would play
If this game is “dead”, what does that say about players? Wildgate really feels like a paradox. On one hand, the playerbase is tiny, queues can be slow and some matches are a mess and not beginner friendly. On paper, this should be a “dead game”, yet it almost is in reality. On the other hand, the actual game design is miles above most live-service junk clogging the charts: - Proper crew-based ship management plus intense FPS boarding - Procedural maps and hazards that force real decisions, not just brainless rushing - Meaningful roles, ships and abilities, not just “pick gun, shoot forever” Recent updates that actually try to fix onboarding instead of pumping out skins or DLCs. So the question is: Is Wildgate bad because it has low players, or does it have low players because most people bounced off something that asks them to learn, cooperate and think? If you like deeper, team-focused games and you have at least one friend to play with, Wildgate absolutely deserves more than its “dead game” label. I came in during the free weekend to see what is all the fuss about… and left wondering if the problem is really the game, or the audience.
