Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Phenomenal. It's mechanically sound and interesting, the writing is good-to-excellent, and it actually delivers on the replayability that everyone is always after with random levels and procedural generation and AI. If you're going to play multiplayer, I strongly recommend taking turns reading the dialogue aloud, or casting characters if you have enough people playing. If it looks like something you might enjoy, it's a must-buy.
99 hours in and more to go! This is a game I plan to go back to every few years to enjoy the brilliant story writing, choosing new adventures and playing with different strategies. I would write more but that would take time away from playing the game.

The gift that keeps on giving…
solid game that strikes itself somewhere between a fairytale, a legend and a tabletop role playing game. my only regret is that i could not give them more money to keep working on new DLC.
As I’m writing this review, I’m listening to the Wildermyth OST! It’s really good! That aside… I’m not sure I could play Wildermyth solo. Even though the whole idea of heroes aging and changing through experiences is really appealing, something still pushes me away from its generic fantasy setting enough that I wouldn’t want to dive into it alone. Especially when you know there’s a game like Banner Saga out there, which is unmatched in this kind of gameplay. But the classic tropes of heroic adventures really come to life the moment you play with friends! The feeling is best described as playing a good tabletop game with a group — that excitement, the planning, the discussing and whispering that give tabletop games their energy — it’s all there in Wildermyth (without the boring parts like calculating damage, bookkeeping, tracking moves, etc... I know some people love that, but I don’t). I’ve never played Baldur’s Gate or Divinity in multiplayer, but I imagine it’s a similar vibe. What always turned me off from those games was their sheer size. Every quest or mission would take hours — partly because of all the reading, partly due to the long battles and levels. Wildermyth is different in that regard. It’s streamlined and simple. The dialogues are kept to a minimum so everyone can read them quickly without losing character development. Missions usually consist of a single battle or a timed encounter, and in multiplayer, those fights can be a lot of fun — especially when someone makes an unexpected move and suddenly things get way more intense than before (not to mention it really helps with immersion). The speed at which this game plays and its multiplayer option are what make it so fun! It’ll draw you in so much that you’ll easily overlook a lot of the flaws the game otherwise has — from procedurally generated quests that can be downright stupid, to a strangely uneven treatment of characters (regardless of the player). All in all, I’ve really enjoyed playing it so far and I think I’ll be playing it for a long time!
gud game
A story driven tactical rpg, obviously crafted with love and passion. The years go by and your group of heroes age, as they recruit new members, and say goodbye to the veterans to retirement - the ones who survived their adventures. This fantasy world brims with magic, wonder and sometimes melancholy, as Time waits for no one and stories are either forgotten or transformed into legends. I received the game for my birthday.
The best radial rpg with generational mechanics; The characters you create have children and those children take the role of hero troughout the campaign. Also there are plenty of mods in the workshop to complement and customize your experience. 10/10 game
the UI is kinda frustrating sometimes, but honestly the design of the game casually forces you to improve communication if you're playing with other people, which I think gets lost in other multiplayer games. and it's worth the trade-off of being able to check out and then zone back in once it's your turn because there are really cool synergistic moves you can make if you lean in rather than just getting annoyed. easy to play, though less intuitive than I usually prefer. absolutely adore the writing and story line though and I'm a fan of something otherwise so simply evoking such big feelings. def a favorite!
Story telling gem! 🌟 Wildermyth is a storytelling gem. 🌟 This game blends tactical combat with dynamic, procedurally generated stories that feel genuinely personal. Your heroes grow old, fall in love, feud, and become legends — and no two campaigns feel the same. (I am still going through the campaigns to see just how much variety there is). The art is beautiful (personal taste), the writing is witty, and the combat is clever (especially the magic system). If you love RPGs with heart and replayability, grab this game!
