Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A very charming RPG with excellent customization, cozy tabletop vibes and competent XCOM-like strategic/tactical layers. The storytelling and character work is initially charming but is unfortunately ultimately a little shallow because of its procedural nature. The first campaign will blow you away. The second will still be very enjoyable. But by the third and fourth playthroughs the seams in the procedural storytelling start to show and you realize you're hankering for more depth in the storytelling than the game is prepared to give you. I also don't really like the story structure, which is a series of acts separated by years-, sometimes decade-long timeskips. The timeskips between the acts deflate all narrative tension just as it feels like our heroes have gone through some character/relationship development, the chapter ends and we leave them for years. In exchange you do get to see your heroes age gracefully and play with some bad*ss older characters but I don't think the tradeoff is really worth it because with the timeskips what you end up getting is essentially a series of only loosely connected vignettes, and the denouement of the story always happens to a bunch of old people who started their adventure literal decades ago. I would still highly recommend this game though! It tickles a lot of the same neurons as XCOM does, but in a pleasant handdrawn artstyle that makes it feel like you're playing a tabletop pen-and-paper. I spent about twenty hours playing this, enjoyed most of it immensely... and feel like I've gotten all I wanted out of it. And that's just fine, honestly. Not every game needs to be a forever game you can play for a thousand hours. (also the music is very very good!)

Nice easy, relaxing game. It is simple to play and the stories are entertaining.
Love playing this with they buds.
What a beautiful, quirky, interesting labor of love this game is. It's truly a gem. I cannot recommend it hard enough.
This is a great freaking game.
