Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2.67/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The combat for this game is very simple and I love the artstyle! Design of the monsters and environment is very pretty!

I played this awhile ago and don't remember much about it, besides the fact that it blew well past my expectations. Having a story with randomly generated characters sounds like it shouldn't work, but by the end of each adventure i usually cared a lot about their trials and tribulations.
It's a great time, making my OCs in this game to try and build them and see their interactions. Are some of them out of character? Naturally, but that's fine.
A highly systemic fun turn based game with a lot of story sprinkled over it. I don't love the writing, but I admire the ambition and endeavour. The world-building needs a bit more heft, but the moment-to-moment writing is generally a job well done.
If you're the kind of person who finds yourself making up stories in your head about your video game characters, this game was made for you. It's a high fantasy RPG that combines tactical combat, area control, resource management, a long-term main story, side stories and interactions that are based on your characters' backgrounds and personality traits, and legacy elements (player choices and character actions affect the game in ways that pass down over time). The difficulty is adjustable to whatever you like. It is all utterly charming, particularly with the simple and slightly cartoony art style. If any of this is appealing, check it out. Do look into the huge pile of Steam Workshop mods, also, just for fun (or some new character hairstyles, at least). One thing I can't review: the game was bought for me as a gift along with the Armor and Skins DLC. So, I can't report directly on how much the DLC affects the game. Steam comments seem to be about 60% "good tools to make weird builds more viable" and 40% "nbd mostly cosmetic" Minor gripes: Not everything is particularly balanced (there are definitely some useless or even detrimental things that are positioned as useful/good). The game urges you to recruit constantly, but there is a tipping point in campaigns where there's no point in recruiting more characters, because new characters start at level 1 and there literally isn't time to grind them up to survivability before the campaign's losing condition will trigger. You can safely have 2 parties' worth of characters in most campaigns, but there's never any reason to have more than that.
Awesome game, great storytelling, perfect for a fun evening playing with friends.
I slept on this game for months. Just seemed like a really hard concept to pull off well... Decided to take a risk and buy it as a treat after a good workweek and... I LOVE IT. Been absolutely hooked for 4 hours straight. Like D&D? Like good combat? Like good story telling? Buy the game :)
Fun, simple tactical combat. Relaxing vibe.
