I recommend this but only if it's on sale, it is 100% not worth full price (sorry). I've never seen a jigsaw game priced this high before, and being as it lacks quite a few basic features that most other jigsaw games have, as well as quite a few glitches, it most definitely is not worth the usual price range. I will do a quick pros/cons, sorry it's not detailed but I forgot to write notes as I was playing, and being as I started it 2 months ago I've forgotten a lot of what I wanted to say. (jokes, it ended up being detailed, you're welcome) Pros: - The animations somehow made it harder and easier at the same time which is impressive. On one hand it helps you match up pieces, but on the other it can be flashy/annoying and distracting. - You get a timer while you're playing which is cool. - Jigsaw piece positions are saved so you can exit the game and come back to everything where you left it. - Button to sort pieces into a "edges" and "inside piece" piles. Pressing this button again after you've completed the edges basically acts as a shuffle button as well. (imo a separate button should exist to avoid confusion) - Decent achievements (one for every puzzle, one for all sizes, one for completing the game). Cons/Suggestions: - Glitch mouse movements. You will often have a piece stuck to your mouse that you have to click again a few times to drop. And then the opposite, a piece won't stick to your mouse so you can't move it around. To quote another reviewer "Considering there is only one button to push for the whole game, it's rather pitiful it doesn't seem to work very well". - Lack of images and having to do them all 3 times each got slightly boring, hence why I spread them across a few months so I could "enjoy" them more - Pieces can be placed together before being placed on the board itself, but ONLY inside the board. You cannot snap pieces together in the "sorting area" which really blows. - You can only mute the music/sounds or have them on full. No sliders which is annoying. But to be fair, the music is awful, doesn't loop and will drive you insane after 10 minutes anyway. - MASSIVE issues with tabbing out (extreme lag, sometimes you have to tab out and in a few times to actually be able move your mouse). This can usually be solved by playing in "Windowed" mode... if only this game had that option >.> - Sometimes pieces get stuck if they're slightly off the screen, so you have to "shuffle" again, which you don't always want to do if you've laid your pieces out neaty. - I would like to be able to make the background (not the board background, as you get a few for this, still lacking though) a plain colour. It's sometimes hard to see the pieces on a pictured background. - The animation of the pictures can sometimes be a bit sudden. A few of them you'll find cause the whole thing to "flash" slightly which is very distracting. I'm not going to suggest a button to pause the movement because that would just turn it back into a normal jigsaw game, so definitely fix the loop of the animations. - The UI overall is a bit cheap/tacky, especially for the full price it's asking for, I would've excepted it to be *perfect*. In short, this is a basic jigsaw game (other than the animation part) that I would recommend if it's on sale (75%+).
This is a decent jigsaw puzzle game.
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
A jigsaw game with a total of 10 different animal themed images that you can solve with either 60, 240 or 350 pieces. The animated images themselves were pretty nice, but what I really love about this game is that you don’t have to hunt for edge pieces, the game can separate them for you.
