It's very fun imperial mystery game. I don't typically watch any Asian imperial dramas but the mystery is quite nice. The flow was good, the creator of the game didn't describe everything in the scene but rather the relationships and the politics mattered more. The guys are pretty hot too and all have distinct enough personalities for everyone's specific type even if there is only one love interest that Mai actually falls for in the main story.
great art and interesting story
My only touch towards East Asia was with Sekiro and Shogun 2 with definitely other styles of games. I've seen this game on instagram because yes, as a nerd I love historical humor. This game was a good step me being introduced to otome. Story definitely kept me on edge, story sometimes became personal and I've shared similar struggles Mai with my perception on love as well. It's refreshing to see intrigue displayed this was in a genre like this. Also thank you for keeping a non-hetero detail too. I've seen some yuri stories between empress and consort back in instagram lol. Congrats for the release ,may it bring more audience and interest. Also, stellar design and I've been a nastee girl...
Big fan of historical K and C Dramas so it is no surprise that I enjoyed this visual novel! I was pleasantly surprised how well the story was written. Decisions are easy, but sometimes make you question what to choose. Although I predicted who the perpetrator was early on, there were a lot of points that made me second guess myself. TL;DR: If you like historic dramas, buy this!
the way i would let thang tung **** me till **** **** **** ****** *** *** ** ***** *** ** **** **** tbh i dont gaf about assassination or anything let me mate with my four lovely husband ffs lol
i love it!!
i just wish we get to able to choose our own outcome and investigate on our own that will outcome different endings but it is sooo goooood i love the plot twist!! also i wish we can choose the guys we can end up with >_< im excited for next release
loved it !!<3
This is my first time playing an otome game that had some mystery surrounding it (that was available on mac)! I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the plot, the art, and the music that accompanied the two. I also enjoyed the awards and the extra scenes! I am a little bummed about not having a scene with Thanh Tung, but ahh alas, that is the curse of being the second male lead... I would definitely be thrilled if Little Snake Studio made another game just like this! Or even just another otome game in general!
I originally picked up this game because it checked a lot of boxes for me. It came across my FYP on TikTok before its release and I bought it shortly after. I was excited this game in the beginning but was then a little saddened to learn I could not really choose my love interest. I think the game cover art had me under the impression that I could and I had not seen the game website citing the male lead. I do not dislike Vu but it did dampen my enthusiasm to keep playing for a while. I was hoping to know more of Thanh Tung. Mai's development and Vu's story was satisfying for me. I've also finished the additional content available (Empress POV) and am waiting to see more of Thanh Tung. Sometimes I felt the game dragged on a bit on my play through but if I ever wanted to replay for the additional scenes there is a skip button. I will most likely play some of the additional content as it's released. I played this solely on the Steam Deck and it worked perfectly. ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Nicely paced story and great art
