About
Use your color changing staff to solve challenging puzzles. Carry the lessons you learn from each puzzle throughout the game.
Unlock new areas of the hub world and gain access to new puzzle mechanics! You'll learn to use the color changers, teleporters, circuits and more.
Some inhabitants want to help you solve the puzzles! Some would rather you left the puzzles alone.
You can undo any mistake with the press of a button, and you can rewind, pause, or fast-forward time to suit your needs. Way of Rhea has hard puzzles, but forgiving mechanics--no combat or platforming challenges here.
The difficulty builds over time. Use everything you've learned to beat the challenging end game!

I test every build on Steam Deck!
The game is currently letter-boxed on non 16:9 aspect ratio monitors. It's tricky to get this right for a 2D game--if we just allow arbitrary aspect ratios, then the camera will point outside the level bounds, or reveal secrets or puzzle elements you're not supposed to see yet.
I'm not super happy about that. If the game does well enough I may be able to create a patch down the line where I do a pass over each puzzle and make custom camera frames for a few more common aspect ratios, but I can't make any promises right now!

Great puzzles and character dialogue
Way of Rhea is a charming puzzle game (with great music and visuals) that has easy to understand mechanics such as switches, doors, and teleporters (as well as some other surprises I won't spoil.) Even though you may have seen these ingredients in many other games, the levels here use them to create clever moments and wonderful puzzles. I definitely recommend it.
Ryan Reynolds voice acting really sold it. His character doesn't show up until like 2 hours in during the boss battle but it was so worth it. I laughed so hard. Like overall the game is pretty good. It has some cute character art, and fun puzzles, I really hate the animation on the doors but otherwise pretty good. Oh and the first level has a pretty tough learning curve. But then the surprise cameo really took me off-guard not sure why there's nothing in the credits or description about it. But Ryan Reynolds killed it I could not stop laughing. I guess maybe it's like a marketing thing? Wtver. Anyway overall good puzzles, nice art, and incredible voice acting. 7/10 would play again.
Excellent puzzle platformer that relies on clever swapping mechanics to get from point A to point B. No jump button to be found. Instead you must think about the correct way to sequence your moves in order to traverse the beautiful animated world. Highly recommend!
I loved this puzzle game. All the characters like shrew and Rhea are so adorable. The animation and noises they make are very cute. The worlds are also challenging making the game worth while. I also love the music and the controls are easy to learn. I definitely recommend giving this game a try.
I played the demo extensively and was waiting for the release! This is a very fun puzzler with a unique art style, good music, and interesting puzzles. While it can be challenging, the undo/redo system never makes it frustrating.
I'm really enjoying Way of Rhea so far! I've almost made it through all the single mechanic puzzles and I'm looking forward to the dual and triple mechanic ones. The game reminds me quite a bit of Braid: high level of polish, simple but challenging puzzle mechanics, easy rewinding to retry/correct mistakes, and a cute story that's drawing me in (though remains to be seen if it will play with my emotions at the end). Definitely worth giving a try if you like puzzle games!
Puzzle games aren't usually my thing, but every now and then one comes out that has a well-engineered progression in which each new challenge is approachable, drawing a foundation of patterns that become tools as you progress through the story. It reminds me a bit of Baba is You in that way, and it also has the following going for it: - Heartwarming story - Awesome soundtrack - A shrew on a bike Looking forward to sinking some more relaxing hours into this one.
Love the music.
