The best graphics I've ever seen in a VR kayaking game by a margin. To make it even better, it has full support for motion simulators which can be toggled from general settings once easily. Not sure how much i would enjoy this just sitting down, but with Yaw Motion Simulator settings set to the following, This game absolutely smacks. Pitch Forward: 30 Pitch Backward: 33 Roll: 33 Power: 70 Do not limit the Yaw. Adjust slider to 180° of rotation
Currently can't recommend a game that appears to be abandoned. Nothing from the dev in months - no DLCs, no updates, nothing, which is a real shame. There's simply not enough content right now, to justify the price, even on sale at $14.99 which is what it was when I bought it.
I tried two maps and on both I managed to bump into the shore and the kayak started spinning in a runaway fashion, can’t reset back in the water until it stops spinning.. a game breaking bug for me. Beyond that, the game was very pretty and seemed like it could be fun if the physics were polished up.
It was not realistic. The sensitivity of the paddle was too low so it wasn't fun. I have applied for a refund.
Great game. The reason why it doesn't work with OpenXR toolkit is because it supports quad view foveated rendering, which is a very powerful dynamic foveated rendering method.
Early review but I’m really impressed with the mechanics and the great visuals already. It would be incredible if there was an Olympic slalom level which has the rules with all those gate/posts that you have to navigate through and around.
Amazing and unforgettable experience! You will be totally immersed into the beautiful, flowing experience. The courses are varied and offer a lot of variability. I hope the developer offers additional Courses in the future. I would certainly buy small DLC packs to fund his efforts.
Great surprise! This is kinda what I wanted Kayak Mirage to be. While a pretty chill experience overall, you’ve seen everything Kayak Mirage has in about an hour. Levels here are much much longer, detailed, and creative. Iceland is probably my favorite, this is literally like Kayaking thru the world of Death Stranding, which is as awesome as it sounds. Though you get some pretty cool rapids to deal with, it’s not entirely too much work to chill and let the courses take you. I am not in the slightest a real world kayaker, so I couldn’t tell you if this is in the slightest realistic, but hey, it’s fun.
This game is incredible! I find myself laughing I'm having so much fun. Plus the environments are beautiful! Don't hesitate to buy it.
Graphically stunning and very immersive a must buy if you appreciate realism in VR
