About

My name is Stella. I’m not sure how this message is reaching you, but you’re the only person I can contact through my communicator. We can video call, voice message, or text, and it's all powered by AI-driven dialogue. Right now, you’re the only one I’ve got.
I was part of a research crew before… something happened. We crash-landed on a planet called Gaia, and I don’t know if I’m the only one left.
To fully enjoy the experience, a working microphone is required
The only way to help me is by talking to me. Everything you say shapes what I do and if I survive. If you’re wrong… I won’t make it.

There’s no script–just open-ended conversations between us. We can talk about literally anything - movies, memories, whatever’s on your mind.

I’ll message you throughout the day with what I’m seeing, feeling, thinking. Sometimes I’ll need advice. Sometimes I just need someone to talk to. Either way… I hope you’ll be there.

I’m going to need your help making these choices to survive. I’m going to need someone to talk to so I don’t lose myself out here. I need you.

Yeah... You know how it goes. They give you a chatbot and an adventure they freak out of what the chatbot says they censor the hell out of the chatbot You end up with a lame excuse of what the game is supposed to be, even Gemini is less constrained than this one
Standard AI fishing for information to feed it back to you later, week internal story line, with a reasonable understanding of content (above average for AI). It miss understood me several times. And kept trying to get me to call the suicide hotline.
Honestly I really want to like this, but the RP aspects are really railed in. You can't be anyone but who the bot wants you to be unless you really reinforce it. The guardrails really ruin the experience because they keep interfering with any of the lore you try and establish for yourself. So there's two aspects to it. Video calls and text conversations. And, well, those text conversations actually seem to be a completely different context from the video calls. It won't remember the conversation you had in the video call, and that's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. So the only real world building you can do is in the video calls, but the text conversations, which are kinda just a filler, keep annoying the ♥♥♥♥ out of you. Also you can't use custom models. So when this service goes down, this game will be dead. Needs actual custom models to liberate it. We need to see the prompt. You're not protecting anyone with this stuff. You're actually only giving people a reason to not buy it.
Feels like talking to a 3B model. Personal questions every minute, supposed expert astronaut, but can’t reason through basic survival or tools. Uses a rock to pry open a pressure-rated escape pod after atmospheric entry- yeah, right... It took an hour to even make it playable on Linux without crashing every scene change, then it didn't sync and lost 45 minutes of progress. By the time I finally got proton 10 and launch options to make it play and realized how bad this is, I was past the 2 hour window for a refund.
The game was interesting and a fun concept for the most part, but eventually it just becomes frustrating. Having to wait real world hours just to come back so you can continue the game is legitimately stupid. And considering that it's talking back and forth with a server somewhere in order to give real-time responses (instead of being built in to the game), that means that the second they want to pull the plug, it's dead. And as far as the gameplay goes, Stella will just blatantly ignore things you say and suggestions you give, because she still has a scripted path that she's supposed to follow. If you deviate from that script, she'll just argue with you and do WTF ever she wants anyway, so what's the point? Again, love the idea and would 100% love to see it done better, but this fell flat on its face. Then lastly, you add in their ToS regarding the matter, and Anuttacon can ♥♥♥♥ ALL the way off with that one. 2/10
I purchased the game but its the same as the demo. Waste of money. I can only recommend the demo
It's an interesting first step in a cool new genre. Since this is part of the first generation of this genre of games ("Talking simulators?"), it still has a lot of issues. I'm still not sure I "won" the game or got one of the crappy endings. With that said, I really enjoyed the AI chat bot speaking back to me as we tried solving the various problems. It would have been nice to see more characters, and possibly a clearer "victory" condition. Overall, as an "experience", I would recommend this to anyone curious about how a chat bot can be used for a video game. I don't see much replay value beyond seeing how the chat bot reacts to absurd things I say. If it's $10 and under, it's definitely a cool novelty to play through once and forget about it (or enjoy as a means to blow off steam verbally abusing a chat bot).
I love it. Worth the money. Seeing her speak the words is better than what most AI stuff I have seen in terms of games. On a side note I do wish they had a Rate R version that didn't have all the censors. Hell I'd pay extra for that version.
You gotta save the silly space girl!
72 minutes of Time Played shows on Steam. I have not actually played the game. That's time in the Queue that says 10 minutes, but never moves. Steam shows 8 other people playing this game right now (also probably in the queue). I will change this review if it gats better. Bought the full game with high hopes. Edit: I have tried a few more times, and walked away once. Steam's auto response to my Refund Request: "We are unable to refund this purchase to your Visa ending with ... at this time. Your playtime of an included product exceeds 2 hours (our refund policy maximum)."
