About
The corpos are after you. The cops are, too. Even your ex has crawled out of the grave to try and get you back. Meanwhile, the fate of the galaxy itself rests on a knife's edge, and only you can bar the doors of hell.
Whiskey-Four is a standalone 396,000-word interactive novel by John Louis. It's entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
You are a retired contract killer from the Anomalous Interference Unit. Injured on the line of duty, you were forced into an early retirement--only to be reactivated on a distant frontier world to address a horrific, unknowable threat.
A great sense of malaise permeates the void. Something big is stirring, something that jeopardizes the entire galaxy.
You're the only person in position to stop it before it's all too late.
Too bad everyone else wants you dead.

It is unfortunately a slog to play. The quality of the plot & dialogues decrease dramatically as the story progress. While I really enjoyed the dramatic writing during I, the Forgotten One; Most of the characters behaviors/motivations were unrealistic and edgy here.
Beautiful Writing
Whiskey one of best cool character... MOVE OR DIE. KNOWLEDGE KILLS.

Amazing book and a very refreshing one at that! If you want a read that's pretty different from other choice games, give this one a try.

I had a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the characters a lot.
Love it
A really great interactive novel. The writing is compelling and the action scenes were plentiful and amazing. The setting and the lore are intriguing and interesting. It's not perfect; the game is linear and the player character seems to already some of their own personality rather than being a blank slate you get to craft. Nonetheless I couldn't put this down. I read through it nonstop and finished it in 1-2 days. I immediately want to play it again.
Such a great read! With 45 chapters and an epilogue, it's an incredible experience of adrenaline-packed action. John Louis delivers another masterpiece here. I'm a huge fan of his writing (just as I was with I, the Forgotten One). My only two critiques are that the finale drags a bit and there is only one romance option despite all the potential flings. But honestly, since the focus isn't primarily on romance anyway, Ulysses more than makes up for that! :)
Not going to sugar coat it.... this is a rugged read. Brutal. Difficult. Engaging but at the same time I really was conflicted about how I felt about the main character. The universe/setting is grim. I love that kind of story. I recommend this, but be prepared to work for it. This is as I said, a rugged read.
